They were all great, but probably Butchart Gardens. When you know that you've crossed a diamond with a pearl and it can't get any better, that had to have been what it was like when you shot this. Bravo!

Adam is so stiff in his own vids. You pull him out of his comfort zone, and we get to see the inner, dirty and grumpy Adam Gibbs. Love it.

Sorry I'm late to the party, but I'm here. #4 Roots and Rays and #5 Pacific Light are my favorites. As a native PNW'er these are the iconic images that visitors rarely see and cannot be duplicated by another photographer. Keep up the originality and content of your Vlog's which are amazing, good content with potty humor, a winner combination.

the Faroe shots are great

That Faroe Islands shot is absolutely unreal (1st one especially)....... freakin wow! man I'd like to do some flying there!!

#11 Aspen glow. Without hesitation, for me. And I actually have no idea why that one. Just makes me feel good looking at it.

Love them all

My favourite ones are the fairy tree and the waterfall in the Faroe Islands sunset. I love the minimalism of the fairy tree and how it stands out over the mist. There's not a lot of minimalism in nature photography, unless you only deal with long exposure seascapes or very special weather conditions like snow or fog, and i just love it. Clearly special conditions to create that picture. Also, the colors are subtle and beautiful, and it inspires calmness and peace. The waterfall in the Faroe Islands is just an epic scene, without doubt, but what i love the most about that picture is the lovely combination of colors with the right amount of saturation. Just beautiful. I think you have here a selection of pretty stunning pictures. My only complain, or criticism, is that i find some pictures too perfect, too crispy... Maybe the postproduction is ever so slightly heavier than i would like in some of them. I tell you this very aware that i was a criminal of postproduction once (not the worse, but still worthy of punishment), but thankfuly now i tend to like more subtle things. Thank you very much for all the laughter and all the beautiful pictures, you earned a faithful suscriber

I don't know which I like best, but the scale of that last image with the little dwelling was really impressive. That second forest image with the light rays also rates highly.

Happy New Year Gavin! My favorite shot is "Aspen Glow". I live in Arizona and we do have Aspen's and occasionally some snow. Guess I'm just partial to the Rocky Mountain fall shots. But that shot for me is all about the light. The storm clouds, reflections, etc. all come together. But the light breaking through the clouds and hitting the mountain side make it stand out. Oh, and by the way. The part of this video where your bargaining with Adam for the lens cloth. I had just sat down to eat a nice lunch, thanks for killing my appetite buddy. I predict now your channel is going to take off, congrats!

I love your Crystal Mill photo. I grew up in the area and most photographers shoot it from the angle looking south-east where you did it looking south-west which is a really nice change and more creative. Good catch on the fall colors too. That area tends to have them for a very small window due to the lack of sunlight in the fall in that tight valley. Well Done!

I love all the shots, but I watched the Vlog of you making the trip to get there, and it is my favorite one of the whole year. The Soaking at Crystal Mill. You really earned that shot.

The Crystal Mill is my favourite, the dramatic angle, but the light, oh that light on the rocks. Sublime. Plus the drama you had to go through just to get there and get the shot. I live in the south of England where dramatic landscapes are as frequent as a sunny day in Manchester. You must be living the dream out there on Vancouver Island.

Great channel! Really beautiful shots. Inspired me to go after some specific pictures I have in my mind for 2019. Finally for 2nd time I am going to go out in the snow and use some of my new gear I got so I am pretty excited. Kinda interesting to hear that you experienced a lot of moments where the timing and light just wasn't right and you just kept shooting and then boom it was like the perfect moment. It just assures me that I just have to be persistent to get that shot. I hope to get that later this february going up to the lakes here in california in the snow. I always wanted to photograph a frozen lake with the mountains in the far distance with hopefully the sun near the horizon!

Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. I love your vlogs because they remind me that there are world-class locations within a few kilometres of my house. Stocking Creek Park, in particular, is 2km from me right now. I used to camp down there when I was young, and it wasn't a park. There are so many other locations in the Cowichan Valley as well.
