I thought the 7.5 qt soup pot/chef's oven was too big, so I never used it. Then, the other day, I wanted to make the stew for a shepherd's pie, I reached for it and cooked the entire lamb stew in it as one pot. Now I love it. It is so versatile, like a cross between a dutch oven and a braiser. It can also be used as an everyday stir fry wok. It's smaller than my regular wok but can do the same job.

Before your channel i heard of it but never took initiative to request or purchase. My Husband have completed all I want for now. Unless a new color comes out I like. Having this cookware to feed my family and others is a blessing I’m forever grateful. Also, I have the soup pot in white. Inspired by YOU, I’ve never cooked in it yet but it surely is pretty. I added a gold knob to it and now I want the chambray and olive for 2023 Lord spare ☺️pretty pot , great price..

Karen, Thanks for the Soup Pot reassurance as your best of ‘22. I purchased this evening at the same sale price of $300 ($318 with tax) in our chosen color, Flame. Our current l.c. lineup includes The Cassadou & a Glass Top Brassier. I am looking forward to this larger volumed piece. Both of my previous pieces are sloped sided as well. I still do not have an on-brand dutch oven as of yet. To be honest, the soup pot was a secondary choice to the Round Wide Dutch Oven but they were sold out. I just purchased this 7.5 qt soup pot in white and I am so excited! I have the signature skillet in meringue that hubby got me for Christmas and I was blown away at the quality compared to my lodge enameled cast iron cookware. It’s night and day difference between them. I’ve babied my lodge so much and it’s always chipping and I have no idea how. I’ve not really felt the need to baby the le creuset as much because it feels much higher quality.

The 4.5 is on my list for baking my bread, the 3 qt is sometimes is to small for my bread dough, especially if I use 4 cups of bread flour and add cups of cheese

Hi Karen! I've been sick so I haven't been able to comment recently. I love this best list. I actually got all of these items this year as well, except for the Paella pan, which is ironically not available in Spain despite it being a traditional dish from here, and while I was back home in the US it was no longer listed on the site. I actually got one of the cast iron trivets, and a few silicone ones since they're so versatile and look nice on the counter. I also picked up the Magnetic Trivet, and I really love it. Have you checked that one out at all? I just feel like it's so useful to be able to move the pot and have the trivet come along on its own. Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year!

What do you use the soup pot for? I am on thé fence as to if it is too big
