I LOVE black out curtains I started getting them from Amazon and one day I had to go to Family Dollar for something and discovered that they had them also in lots of colors so now I get them from there and they have aĺl lengths and they were just $14.00 for a two pack panel.

I know! I have 4 panel curtains in my cart right now that only 2 are blackout and not as long/wide and I'm at $852! What the heck am I doing wrong I wonder.

Great video, very helpful and love the outakes 🤩! What kind of dog? Does the PB rod look black even though it's antique bronze? Does the liner totally black out, or does light still filter? Why did you have returns, curious as I may order directly from the site for more specific requirements. Thank you so much!!!

Thanks Susan! Our dog is a Great Dane. :) The PB rod definitely looks more black than antique bronze. The liner blocks out roughly 98% of the light. We love it for the afternoon sun. We had returns because we ordered another color that we did not like as much. Returning curtains is a "nice to have" since many are custom and do not allow returns. Hope that helps!

@@archedmanor Thanks for the fast response, I wasn't imagining a Gr Dane but I bet he/she's a BIG love! Yes agree having the return option is so good, I'm having a difficult decision with the colour choice too. Debating between white and what you have - just worried about the 'white' also the lining, I want darkening for sun but not blocking. I did order the free samples on their actual website but they are taking a long time. You can pick different headings, liners on there too but I haven't compared the prices yet and I'm pretty sure there are no returns being custom.

Thanks for the question! The wall color is McCormick Super White Flat. The exact curtains we purchased for this space are linked in the video description. The color is beige white. Hope that helps!

how much blackout percentage do these blackout curtains achieve? 99% blackout? 95% blackout? also, how are you washing these linen curtains? do they shrink? sorry needing so much info as this is my major task right now and need to act on it pretty quick. thanks for your video and hope to receive your answers to my questions very soon

Thanks for the questions! I would say they are about 95-97% blackout - hard to really measure that but we are really pleased with how well they block the strong sun that comes through in the afternoon. We have not washed them yet (but they are machine washable). They are polyester, so they should not shrink. Hope that helps! Were they very wrinkled? I purchased the Maiher drapes and they don’t hang well, and wrinkles are super tough to remove. The fabric is just too stiff.

Ours have not been too wrinkly and our fabric is thick (thanks to the liner), but I would not say ours is stiff at all. Hope that helps!

i need just off white like ur s ok but i love curtains very nice that r affordable for myself livingroom so im looking for 128 width by lenghth spelling my mess my bad so needing about from 87 inches to 89 thats about it so how much would this kinda cost me ???

Custom lengths are expensive. Best to buy standard lengths and then get them altered locally if you need to. :)

Love the drapes but the PB curtain rods are terrible. I love the brackets but the telescoping rod is the worst I’ve come across for rings getting stuck.
