I live in Rural Alberta. I live in the country and we are connected to the sewer lines. Nearest town is 35 mins away. We're very lucky we don't have to deal with a septic tank.

Just put a bristle filter in my outlet baffle. My tank is from 1973 and the new pvc baffle is only partially accessible from the 10" outlet inspection plug. Just learned about bristle filters 2 days ago and was hyped. Since i can't fit a rdgid filter in from the inspection hole i thought i was screwed. Bristle is nice and flexible though. Excited to see how it works. Have you worked with these before?

I installed a tank 25 yrs ago. Oversized it for better retention. The first time I pumped it was 15 yrs the second was 10yrs when i sold the house. The main thing was no wipes, sanitary napkins or feminine products. No Food down the garbage disposal , No grease, No bleach, or any anti bacterial products as well. Basicaly only TP and stuff from the body no other

My system has been in since then, at first just me and my wife, now one kid and another soon to start using the toilet. I do my dumps at work as much as possible, no reason to put wear and tear on my stuff. I made a test system with 1/2" PVC to check the sludge and scum levels in my tank myself. So far so good, but I expect it will need pumped out within the next year.

Do you hook them up for finding the tanks...like 10off lol

I have a suspicion that my drain field is clogged (tank overflows). I’ve seen videos of “shock treatment “. (Bio-Sol in particular)Do they really work? Would you recommend any product that I could try before I have to call someone? Thank you!

We have to have our septic inspected every three years in our towns area. A certificate is mailed out and after it has been inspected and pumped the pumper signs and mails back in the certificate.

How do you set a 5 year reminder.

I have been waiting on you to do a job with customers using this additive. I recently had my field lines replaced, a whooping $6500.00, so I started using these additives also, along with my maintenance. We haven't had the tank pumped yet but I was wondering were the additives really actually working.

I built my home in 1959 and built my own Septic Tank and system. I do not have a Garbage disposal and the Drain from the Washer goes to another system. The tank is 10' x 12' x 10 feet deep - more than four times the size for the house - and I have 8 -75 foot leaching lines coming off the Distribution box. I have had the tank pumped twice - both times there was no sludge in it. Due to poor placement of a tree, one of the lines got roots in a section that had to be replaced when the tree was removed. However, the rest of the lines are clear (yes - I dug some of them. I did replace 5 of the 8 Orangeburg leaching lines and parts of the others with PVC back when that tree was taken down. I have a farm and my own Backhoe) ) From having a big family( 8 Kids) I now live alone. And I regularly put RID X treatment in every month although maybe not as much as specified for the size of my Tank. Of course, back then all the pipes in the house and the pipe out to the tank were Cast Iron. Recently with a pumping, I had an internal pipe inspection - they were clear BUT for some reason they recommended I replace the Cast Iron with PVC - I wonder why when they are clear and the cost to break open my slab would be astronomical. (The house is a split level) I am 85 and really would have a problem affording it. Is it really necessary? The pipe coming out of the house to the Septic Tank show almost no corrosion although I did replace them with PVC. And I also replaced the pipe from the septic to the distribution box with PVC too. However, at 85 I am starting to get old and cannot do all the things I once could for some unexplained reason. When I built my house, the town inspector said that the local water was on the acid side and I should use GALVANIZED cold water pipe - what a mistake. Over the years I have replaced almost all of that with 3/4 " Copper. I have also replaced MOST of the interior house waste pipe with PVC too - although there is one long stack from an almost never used Toilet upstairs I cannot get to but It appears to have no problems.
