This exercise bike is one of my favorite pieces of home exercise equipment after a total knee replacement. It is inexpensive, light weight, and versatile. You can use it multiple times a day for short durations. I always recommend starting with less than you think you can do then working your way up to longer episodes. Most people respond better to 4 short episodes of 3-5 minutes rather than 1 long episode of 20-minutes.
How do I know if I did too much?
If you experience more pain and soreness the same night or the next morning you did too much. You should feel good when you do it. You should stop before you feel like you need to stop.

Your videos are so important to people who had knee replacement my case I had both of them. I went to therapy for 9 weeks but with the virus and no pay checks became hard. But I found your channel. And I now I work on my knees 2x's s day in moderation thank you please keep them coming because they are very important to people who can't get to therapy or afford it

This is a great tool! At the onset of my TKR I used it for short spurts (3-5 minutes) throughout the day in addition to my PT. Works well to loosen the tightness on the knee. 8 mos post op and doing well! 😉

I got this bike..I had a distal femur break and use it everyday. I also do other exercises. I do these because insurance won't pay for outpatient PT..I love your videos..

This type of pedal machine is great to get your knee working again before you are able to use an outdoor bike. It's far cheaper than a stationary bike, and placing it further from the chair makes for an easier rotation. Highly recommended for the first few weeks after surgery to improve mobility. Based on my own experience after surgery.

I have an elderly friend who can’t walk anymore and now has knee pain as well as general leg pain. Can this be used for other leg issues other than a knee replacement which I’m going to have done before to long.
