Please note. Adam Grimes does mention the 3/10/16 MACD setting. The creator of it is Linda Raschke. She has fined tuned her on version called LBR 3 10. Linda Reschke is a traders, trader, a consummate professional. Well worth following her work.

Linda Raschke (the one who uses the 3-10-16 setting in her `anti` strategy) ha quite a few books out. They are all well worth reading.

Linda is indeed a legend. I haven't read any of her works yet, but I've heard great things about them. I did read Adam Grimes' book 'The Art and Science of Technical Analysis,' where he also recommends the 3-10-16 setting. Thanks for sharing 🙏

Correction on the 4th MACD Settings: ohlc4 means - open, high, low, and closing prices for each period divided by 4. Divided by 4 is important.

Absolutely! The division by 4 is essential for the 'ohlc4' calculation. Otherwise, all the prices would effectively be multiplied by 4 and the chart would make no sense at all.

This is good I like how you compare to the original. I'm doing demo swing trading. I start a day chat see where the day is going then the four hrs after that one hr see how can I find strong support . The day trading I look for 1 hr strong support then check for 5 minutes for see how far my support are and I use 2 minutes for my entry. I been watch this guy oliver Velez with his 200 and 20 sma strategy using the 2 minutes time frame but not sure if it's good. I going try use the 5 minutes mcd set up see if I can make some demo money cheers bro

1st--BAD. 12/26 MACD will keep you from losing money on false entries, especially on lower frames and if its a true 2-3 minute scalp the MACD isnt useful at all. 2nd--OK. But turn it off under 1 hour period or you'll go nuts with divergence lines all over everything. 3rd--Cool. I like a cleaner indicator. One must ask if removing the MACD and signal line also removes useful information. If not, go for it. 4th--why? what is gained?

These settings are effective on multiple time frames, from short-term to long-term. However some settings might be more useful on shorter time frames like the 5-min and 1-min while some might be more useful on the longer timeframes like 1-hour and 4-hour. It's hard to explain it all in a youtube comment but I hope this helps 🙏
