I got a used Road Series recently, one from before they moved the line down to mexico. I took the pickguard off, updated the pins and bridge (eventually the nut), and put Monel custom lights on. And it opened the guitar right up! I was skeptical of the richlite, but its so smooth to play on. Die hard mahogany fan, i can tell a difference tonally. Sapele has a unique sweet mellow vibe

This top peace is a wood not named Mahogany but you can call this their all mahogany model. Lol right.

@@thetownspeople6486 No, this is called S-A-P-E-L-E He mentioned a few times that this guitar is made from a wood similar to mahogany. Real mahogany is becoming very rare, so makers are using alternative woods. Martin is being very up front with the truth about the type of woods being used here. You might as well not watch this, since you live decided you’re too good for it.
