We're in the city of Guanajuato in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. We sample an explosive drink made up of pineapple vinegar, jamaica (hibiscus flowers) and tamarind water called cebadina, eat Enchiladas Mineras (miner's enchiladas), a guacamaya- a torta which is regional to Guanajuato and loads more. 1. Tacos al Vapor (queso, papas, costilla de res) at Tacos al vapor el jaguar. Open Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm.
2. Pollo Especial Torta at El Pollo Non, Calle Tepetapa 9, Zona Centro, 36000 Guanajuato, Gto. Open 7 days, 9:00am to 6:00pm.
3. Limon and Carlota nieves at nieves stand on the bridge across from El Pollo Non, open from the afternoon.
4. Guacamaya at Guacamayas El Güero, Zona Centro, 36000 Guanajuato. Open 7 days, 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
5. Cebadina at stall outside hardware shop on Roque 3, Zona Centro, 36000 Guanajuato, Gto.
6. Enchiladas Mineras con pollo (with chicken) at Enchiladas de Lupe, Antigua Plaza de Gallos, Zona Centro, 36000 Guanajuato, Gto. Open 7 days from 6:00pm to midnight
