Hi Danny, I have both the Matadoor 45L Globerider and the Seg 28L and love them. The only con I would say is they are not clear that the laptop sleeves are tight for 16” MBP. You can use a cover or sleeve which is annoying for me. I like to protect my $4-5K investments so either when I need to bring my 16” MBP, I add the Matadoor laptop sleeve and put on inside or use another pack with more generous laptop compartment. Otherwise I recommend both packs

These outside pockets are so badass. Wish they made a 20-24 L version. Maybe one less compartment in front? Id buy right now

Such a great backpack, user-friendly, great build, and very modular! Feels more than 28L. Only drawback is the laptop compartment, not the best or most secure feeling, but I don’t use it for that anyways. Only other wish is a small pull tab on both sides of all zippers so I can pull the zip firmly and straight through quickly, as the material is fairly flexible.

I bought both the white and black version of this bag to compare them and the black version has the YKK aqua guard zippers while the white one does NOT. I can't find this listed on Matador's website which is surprising since it is essentially false advertising. They both cost the same price too. I also haven't seen a single reviewer mention this discrepancy, probably because they were never sent the white version, so I am leaving this comment on a few of the larger travel gear review KZfaq channels. Otherwise, both the black and white version of the SEG28 are great quality.

Hi: I have the SEG28. Could recomment packing cubes that fit the main compartment, as if they were "form-fitted" for this bag? I know that Matador doesn't have "form-fitted" packing cubes. It seems that the medium and small Peak Design packing cubes will to the job. Do you agree? Thanks!

@@lj746 They may have some sales around major holidays or it might be worth keeping an eye out for discounts at places like Huckberry and REI when they have their sales
