@@arthurwong9017 Did you drive one, what do you think? Compared to other cars. I've been working in the car industry since I finished school, but nowadays nothing compares. These late 90s Type Rs felt like touring cars out of the gate, you heard every noise inside the car, there was no sound dampening, you even heard the gas in the tank wobble around. there was a connection to the steering wheel, the ride was almost uncomfortable, but it had grip up to 140 kph on country road corners, the seats were rough and hard, and the throttle response was unreal, the shifter was precise but heavy to move, real manly. The engine revved to 8900. What else... oh sorry I ...day dreamed a little. Bye

Yea they may have lost money with some sales, but its good to know that they always focused on engineering masterpieces rather than unreliable crap that's marketed well. Incredible how much of a difference small tweaks made to the stock engine. Great video! Awesome car!

I have an e92 M3 now, but I still LOVE the JDM DC2 Type R. It was my dream car in high school- haha The B18C made me have a love for high revving, low displacement NA engines-

Yeah you're right. I put a mugen (98) manifold on mine. Oh and a aem v2 intake. Oh again, a chipped ecu. I wouldn't mess with the handling, it's perfect. Best fwd car ever made.

Admirable from Honda to build such a track focused car for such a small outlay. Fair play Honda-you're the best Japanese manufacturer by some distance.

I got chance to own an Integra its very special to drive, only driving one will tell you what really is, 80-90's were honda Golden Age with CRX Vtec 160hp, civic Type R 187hp, Integra Type R 200hp, NSX Vtec 320hp, These type of Race car engine prohabited after because of the air polution, they were only 29800 Integra R's made in world, 3700 in USA, 6800 in Europe, prestige collector youngtimer all like Crx very fun to drive and Nsx are Supercars witch beet Ferrari in everything for asked price, in acceleration, duribility, confort and had a big trunk? Perfect daily supercar and service is 100$ 😂👍🏼🇯🇵 Mclaren boss owned 3x of them

Speaking about car alone, not comparing engines. But is there anything significantly different when comparing the type r vs gsr. I know the type r is seam welded n different suspension n better brakes...upgraded seats n steering wheel.

15.060 for the ITR? My 94 GSR on stock engine ran 15.01 on its best run, back around 2002 or so.
