I have a G600 and the right mouse button is finally starting to give me trouble after almost 10 years? Every list I come across still hails this mouse the pinnacle of MMO mice.

i recommend the rog chakram x. it has a joystick that u can make ur movement, and just use ur keyboard for skills and abilities. 36000 dpi max, tri point connectivity, very good looking rgb, ergonomic shape, 4 other side buttons besides the joystick for other simple mappings, like maybe pots or something, and the joystick can have 4 custom mappings if u want it to as well, instead of just W A S D, making it essentially a 11 button mouse. probably the only mouse that i actually really like out of all the other options for any genre of game in general, not just mmo. pair it with a wooting 60he, and thats a killer setup tbh. its only downsides are it isnt one of those ridiculously light mice, and u have to use armoury crate, which can outright break ur computer if u dont know how armoury crate works lol. it took me 2 weeks of my mouse and keyboard being uncustomizable, and my graphics drivers being broken before i finally figured out how to make armoury crate cooperate and play nice

do NOT buy the scimitar elite the mouse wheel will break after a month or two and then scrolling becomes a nightmare (it scrolls up when scrolling down and vice versa) making it almost unuseable

Same problem with 2 razer mice. What happened to the old buy and forget mice. A mouse for 10 bucks last longer then those premium garbage.

Sounds they went the Razer too, first Naga was best mouse i ever had, second was absolute trash, now i have first Scimitar but it's quite old and i was looking for a replacement. Looks like there is no good MMO mouse now.

My mouse wheel still works, most of the time, but the button in the wheel broke ages ago. What I consider to be even worse is that iCue (Corsair's "app" for controlling custom keys) crashes all the time, and even when it doesn't crash it likes to pretend it doesn't understand my keybinds in the middle of playing

Yep, I thought they would have fixed the Elite (because I had this same issue with the Scimitar Pro) but now somehow my Elite is having this scroll issue EVEN SOONER after only a few months. So aggravating.

confused what the point of this was. you explained most of the mice the exact same way. Have you used these? Why are these the top 5? leaves a lot of questions to be answered

Be aware tho, G600 started to use cheaper parts, burned through 3 units in last 1 year, now I am manually fixing their micro switch - as it is cheaper.

Having similar issues with the Corsair mouse. The middle mouse button and scroll functionality all seem to wear out after about 6 months of consistent use. I'm on my third mouse in about as many years and they've all failed in the same way.

I've burned through 3 of them as well, but over the last 5 years. I think this mouse has always had cheap parts. It's cheap for a reason.

My first G600 lasted 7 years of heavy use. I replaced it with another G600 that I've had for just under 3 years, but my middle-button 'tilt-left' stopped working. Logitech didn't have any G600's to replace it with (under warranty), so sent me a G502 Hero...not at all the same thing. Now I'm hunting for a replacement. Although I may try and fix my current G600, i need a backup in case I break it while trying to fix it.

@@deciett same issue here with the scimitar. I want to use this mouse bc I have a long thumb but after going through 2 Scimitar Pros in 3 years and now buying the Scimitar Elite and having the mouse wheel acting up after only a few months I need to change.

The Logitech G600 has reliability problems with buttons failing after 2 months and the Razor has their shitty drivers, I wonder if you even use any of these mice you recommend or it's all for the affiliate links

I've had the Scimitar for a little over 2 years now, honestly i don't really care for it. Lots of connectivity issues, even wired, for it picking up saved/default profiles causing the buttons that you've programmed, or the lighting, to not work consistently. I'll be switching to the Logitech soon.

the key is to just use the hardware memory. I've been using Scimitars for 6 years. I also never use the icue software unless I need to change something and then I uninstall it.

Elite or older one? I have older model, works fine for 6+ years now. Don't tell me they went Razor on their products.

@@ThereWasNoFreeName Elite, Pro, Doesn't matter. They all break after one year of heavy use these days. Heavy use meaning 10+ hours a day. If you games for maybe 3-4 hours a night, I expect it to last maybe 2-3 years ez.

Same here.. biggest issue is it keeps turning off my 12 side buttons... I can be in the middle of a game and suddenly ICUE have lost connection to it.. the 2 top buttons works but not the rest.. Only thing that will fix it is to restart my computer... Because of this I will never get that mouse again.. its annoying af.. if it wasnt for that one (but super importent) thing, it's a great mouse.

I bought razer last 2 times. And will never again. Both razer mice got there scroll wheel bugged after 4-5 months. For 150USD there is no excuse for this. Never again Razer, ever.

i juse the logitech g502 its got 8. keys. 3.side 2.left at the L mose key and 3.on the scroll weal left right and down press 😄 im fine with that

I have wireless version M913 and two DPI buttons are NOT programable. Be aware of this - this change my mind about this product and I consider to replace it with something else (full mechanical aditionally)

@The_Movie_Thieves I have used it for year and switched on Razer Naga v2. Now I fell that all what I can imagine I am able to configure on my mouse. Don't think that I will move back to old Redragon or buy something from this company. (BTW I am working in fro of pc and play in H&S so maybe I might be more strict for mouse capabilities and my requirements)

@@matsu9790 people complain that it doesn't save the macros and you have save every button everytime you open your computer to use it or just open the application again in general. Is it true? And even if it does, would you recommend getting a good Logitech 102 and just get my skill up for keyboard or get this?

just a feedback for other gamers, My *Corsair Scimitar* died after 12-13 month of use. the scrolling Wheel is now useless and therefore the whole mouse too. great video just to compare Razer and Logitech to Scimitar, the last one sounds and looks really good feels good two. but paying 60-80 bucks every year isn't really a good idea. instead +120$ mmo mouse like Logi and razer will last longer. (wait for offers they got often discounted) mine previous Logitech lasted for 3 years.

Just thought Id put this here for anyone looking to buy, I had the Razer Naga Trinity for not even 10 months and my left click and my right click started failing, and Razer customer service was a pain the arse to navigate through before being able to get my money back. Also the Razer software required to download in order to adjust colors/macros performed similar to a malware, spiking my systems CPU and memory to near 100% and slowing down my games.

So... Nothing new then. Been using Naga since it's initial release in 2009, great mouse, had it for 6 years, it died, got new Naga, it died in 2 months and i didn't even got a replacement mouse, it was a straight refund followed by "too many returned for repair, we've taking them out of sale cuz it's shit and we don't want to sell shit". That scroll wheel issue was a mass failure i found out later. So i got Scimitar and using it for... 6+ years i think, the only thing really dead now is a scroll wheel button, wheel itself is OK. Reprogrammed one of the buttons to be used as a scroll wheel button and it's fine. New Scimitar, G600 are quite old mice, Potha X isn't exactly what i need, Redragon is low quality piece of shit compared to Corsair but it costs less than a half, Razer became an overpriced shit since 2015 so also out of question. Tough choice i should say, tough choice.
