I like to carry 50oz hydration packs. It gives me the flexibility to access the rear pockets in my jersey for things I want to get quickly. When reviewing packs, I look at materials, ventilation, functional storage capacity, and fit. The last thing you want is an uncomfortable hydration pack or a hydration pack that moves while you are mountain biking.

Great review with plenty of detail. Kudos to the camera operator too. I just bought the Camelbak Chase and 1st ride lost food from front pockets. I found out when I got hungry later.

Osprey just redesigned the Duro- no more side straps and made of lighter, cooler material that hugs the body better. And YES, brownies are awesome!

Thank you for the review! I was getting comfortable with the Camelbak Chase then I saw your review for the bigger Chase 8! 😫 I know, first world problems! I do like the front pockets on the Camelbak ones and I have two that I’ve used the past few years. One has the 100 oz bladder and the other 70 oz I believe. Thank you for the review! I’ll probably have to see them in person to really get a better feel for them! Thanks again and stay safe! 🤘🏼💪🏼😜💯🔥🚲

Just FYI Osprey does make two larger sizes of Duro (6 and 15 liter) if you need more space, and they also make a women’s version, but it’s called the Dyna

Thanks great vid. I’m considering the Chase for long races this year. The USWE packs have gotten a lot of hype in the gravel world, have you tried them?

The one thing I don't like about the Chase is the main zipped pocket doesn't go right to the bottom of the bag, which means a pump or a map (yes I still sometimes carry a paper map) won't fit in that compartment. The phone phone pocket on the right strap could be bigger too. Otherwise it is vary comfortable and has a decent amount of space for a reasonable day out.

I'm actually interested in the helmet shown in your video. I'm assuming this is a Kask Rex WG11, but it looks like they will not sell these in the US. Do you have any information on that?

If you have the cap clip from gopro, or something alike, you can attach it to one side on the front. If you really want to secure it, drill some holes on it, and strap it with tie-raps or something alike.

How come no one mentions the weight of this products on this videos. Too much chatter.. give us the weight and pocket placements, and stop it with telling us the purpose of pockets , we know what pockets are for. The weight Number of pockets Hydration bladder size How the bladders work? Most of this videos are made for those that were born last night
