I went through a period where i got bored watching nascar, but i credit Carl Edward's first win at Atlanta for getting me back into it. Watching him run down Jimmie Johnson, sideways out of the turns got me fired back up again. I was amazed at how he was able too hang onto it when they showed how blistered up those rear tires were after the race. My favorite finish though is still Ricky Cravens win at Darlington. Also thought Carl Edwards holding it wide open through the last turn at Kansas was pretty cool.

I'd change some of these Pocono: Mayfield punting Earnhardt out of the way in... 1999, I think? And using his catch phrase against him ;) Martinsville: The Johnson-Gordon finish a decade ago or so was more iconic to me. Kentucky: that race ending was pretty fun, but some time ago, Kyle Busch winning, but also rooting for David Reutimann in his mirror to beat Jimmie Johnson, sticks out more in my mind. Michigan: Dale Jarrett's first ever win in the early 90s was a VERY close finish.

Started out with the best win after the most unbelievable and upsetting loss of a driver. Dale’s legend was bigger than Dale himself, he had so many horrible crashes throughout his career and he always shook it off and he’d be back at it next Sunday. That next Sunday and he wasn’t was worse than the crash that took his life.

The best finish of any kind at Atlanta was the first ARCA race on the new layout. And since it was a Saturday, it was the first race on the new layout of any kind. Andy Hillenburg, Harris DeVane, and Dill Wittimore. Three wide, all of them within one hood length, crashing after the finish line. I'm working the flagstand, and I can't tell who finished where. Then the rest of them racing hard for the finish, then trying to figure out a way to get around the first three cars Most made it, some didn't without making contact with someone else.

Nah, just a poor choice. I can think of many others where the competitors were better people/drivers and the racing was better. It’s stupid for anyone to think that a race in the COT or Gen6 was good when they just objectively aren’t. The drivers nowadays are awful boring people. Hamlin and Keselowski Racing for a win at Indianapolis? I’d rather blow my brains out. Now Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne battling it out in 2005? Hell yeah brother. That was the best race there. Bobby Labonte vs. Rusty Wallace in 2000? That was incredible. Hell, I’ll even break my own rule and say that 2010 and 2011 were objectively better finishes. Jamie McMurray winning for Chip? Hell yeah brother. Paul Menard holding off Jeff Gordon? Hell yeah brother. Those drivers are NASCAR. Hamlin and Keselowski are cancers.

MrMW2nd Dover had that badass finish between Kenseth, Larson, and Chase Elliott in 2016, idk why the uploader chose that green-white-checkered finish between Johnson and Busch instead.

My favorite finishes in NASCAR history: 1. Chicagoland 2018 2. Bristol Night race 1999 3. Bristol day race 2018 4. Bristol day race 2007 5. Martinsville fall race 2018 6. The debut of the Roval Idk that Chicagoland race last year was phenomenal, but if you don't like that kind of racing, don't even watch.

I know the ‘best race’ at a track is often subjective and that this is your opinion, but is that really your favorite Michigan race. I know Michigan is boring, but I can think of at least two better off the top of my head (1991dale Jarrett vs Davey Allison, and the 2009 mark martin win when everyone ran out of fuel)
