What about the basic controls? What does the selections mean (1-3), how to control the planes, etc.

Starting with the Hermes, I have an easier time with dive bombers and fighters but torps are very frustrating. How can I improve or learn how to aim those damn things?

BHuang92 you just have to learn the speed of your torpedoes so you can lead the target correctly, I too had a hard time but I’m getting hits more often then not now. When you attack come in on their broadside, depending on distance you drop the torps will determine how much to lead him; also how fast the ship is moving.

Tip 1:close your chat because sometimes the stupid guys can drop your morale. Tip 2:use your fighters as a spotter plane and dont waste your fighters to enemy planes you can use your fighters for protect your dd's to but mostly use your fighters as a spotter Tip 3:if you unlock t6 cv's you unlock the torped planes heal use it when you start taking multiple AAA damage and if you meet with an AAA crusier Tip 4:Well yes you can prefer play with the biritish cv's but IJN cv's are the best cv's in game you can do 30k+ in 1 dive so play with us carriers or ijn carriers Tip 4:try to learn how to torp perfectly for deal some good amount of damage Tip 5: try to relize how long is your enemy's AAA in game its going To give an huge avantage against your enemy's HAVE FUN! ~COMRADE_2019~

Could be me. As T6 is basically just free XP... it's the starting tier, for me. And I honestly have no clue so far. But I'll learn to be one of the reasons that people mope around.

@@ShadowReady I don't know how the German carriers handle because I still haven't tried them but I think that players that just started out shouldn't use them simply because of the fact that they won't know how to use AP fighters on cruisers.

I would say US, doesn’t have a fancy gimmick that you have to learn. And the planes themselve have pretty good health.

Japan aircraft carriers are nice to play as there aircraft are fast and they have awsome torpedoes

@@thomastooke2326 they weren’t dive bombers they were mainly torpedo bombers and I wouldn’t want to be diving in a swordfish 😂

And 3rd would be UK, but the uk carriers had a different role as they were facing more land base aircraft that can hit harder

Well that's down to usage, there wasn't any carrier on carrier action in the European theatre. British carriers were mostly used for ground attack, air defence and on uncommon occasions attacks on naval targets.

@@ShadowReady errrm, us Brits loaned a carrier to the the US Navy to fight the Japanese. Look up the USS Robin. British carriers survived better against kamikaze attacks because of armoured flight decks where as us navy decks were wood.
