To all the people asking about how long the torch lasts: The long answer is it depends on flame intensity, ambient temperature and even elevation. The short answer is, about 10-15 hours on a standard 20 lb. (5-gallon) propane tank. You have complete control of the flame so if you want a huge bonfire, go for it, you'll have about 3-4 hours of pure heat. If you're only needing some added ambiance with a hypnotic dancing flame, on low you can get 20+ hours out of a tank.

I was going to switch up on my track boards to Action Trax. Didn't think of the cold temps. 🤦🏽♂️ Switching now. Thank you.

Yea for sure…I’m learning things all the time about cold temps versus hot temps.

Hopefully you can make it down to Idaho Falls and the Teton overland show in September.

Oh I would love to but I’m scheduled to be a featured influencer at Overland of America in Oklahoma. Will hopefully get to Teton Overland Show next year.

Tripod torch: how is the propane consumption? does it burn thru propane fast??
@AdventureBuiltАй бұрын
I haven’t done any testing with it but I will have to assume it depends on the setting. More flame more gas!
@Master-Blaster-4x4Ай бұрын
@@AdventureBuilt would be really really useful to know how long a 5lb propane would last in this torch whilst set to a normal output flame….very useful to me and others imho
@AdventureBuiltАй бұрын
@@Master-Blaster-4x4I plan on doing a review of it and will add those details. Might be a bit until I’m able to create it unfortunately. Thanks for watching and stay tuned.

Hot in Arizona? It barely reaches 85 degrees...and it gets blistering cold with tons of snow in the winter time.

I can’t believe the price for those solar panels. That’s actually unethical.
@tt4569Ай бұрын
I hate that overland gear, especially those panels , are so ridiculously overpriced, I get it’s made in America but it forces a lot of us to settle for Chinese made crap .
@GoodkatNW25 күн бұрын
$635 for a foldable 130w panel.....yikes. Shadestopper (also US made out of Utah) has a 100w ETFE flexible panel that is $119, and likely far outperforms this in partial shade/overcast conditions.
