The Counter Strike Katowice 2019 Major has started which means fresh new ideas from many of the team. Lets take a look at some of the best strategies to come out of the Challengers Stage.

man that delta split on Renegades was hella impressive. I didn't cathc all the games so I couldn't understand how Renegades suddenly went 3-0, but they really planned and prepared well for all their maps. Crazy stuff from down under

This series has to be a must video when there is a major ongoing. Teams saves the best strats for this event, so there is so many creative strats.

Yeah although the strats in this video are very common, he should've shown the new chinese team's strats as they did a lot of things we hadn't seen before, or at least they did them in a different way. Like when they took B on inferno they did a really deep CT smoke and smoked on site basically blocking vision from site and CT, then some of them pushed CT and went round construction. It worked really well as it was unexpected.

@@BaldMancTwat They weren't common and tyloo isn't a "new" team..? Also wrapping construction is probably more common than anything mentioned.

@@monxrc488 The only new strat I saw in this video is where KennyS re-smoked the cache A site highway cross after the site take. I was referring to the strats when I said new not the teams. If you're telling me you've never seen a team smoke CT and construction on inferno before, or smoke pit and balcony, then I would say you haven't watched any pro games on inferno. I've seen these strats in MGE EU matchmaking several times. Not to mention how Vitality strat actually didn't work yet most of Tyloo's strats actually ended up winning them the round.

@@BaldMancTwat The thing that was creative with vitality, is that they used astralis aps burst strat, which is a pretty well known strat, as a fake and then went b with a very well timed and fast ct smoke and a flash up banana. This strat is only good because teams know the astralis strat, you could say vitalitys strat was pretty meta.

There is this round in the vitality vs ViCi Inferno game that I would like you to cover. If you could find it it would be amazing. Vitality T side , Alex which is usually the lurker dies in Arch, while his teammates were in mid. The player who killed him (Kaze or aumaN) immediately called that mid is clear (and knowing that Alex is usually the lurk) the ct's started rotating towards B . Just a couple seconds after Vitality rushed A and found themselves in a numerical advantage . I dunno if this was intended or not but seemed very intelligent from their side. Edit: From what I remember this was in OT. Edit2: this was round 22:23 check it out

I did enjoy Renegades t-pistol on Mirage vs NIP (I think?) where they threw bench and stairs smoke - showed bomb ramp to the player spotting from ticket and then the 3 other guys just went out B and took the site since they'd rotated on the call that they had seen the bomb. Sick stuffff

Just a small bit, but I loved how G2 after pushing B on Cache, knowing that the CTs are probably counter-boosting mid, instead of going straight on side to plant boost through the vent towards middle to get that midcontrol, maybe you could pick that up as a bonus somewhere!

I think Shox’s sandbags Molly is about the timing of it rather than the spread, cause he or someone else also threw it with a boost smoke from t spawn that led right into that lineup, which I think he can throw faster than the easier/more consistent ones like yours

shox's molly is much harder but it is better if you can molly a bit back, the enemy probably will panic and try to go back while you are fighting him he will get extra damage from molly, btw nice video

Believe it or not the smoke molly combo from shox is the fastest way of coming out of boost while throwing the nades necessary to do so. Smoke boost and molotov sandbags with perfect timing. If he lined it up with the wall the boost would be at least 1/2 seconds late and not catch the ct's with the boost molotov in hand

for the shox molly. he uses the lineup spot for other nades as well. he has 2 smoke lineups from that barrel. maybe its just easyer for him to remember that way

The smoke I presume you are talking about is done before he reaches the barrel to line up the molly so it shouldnt affect his timing at all to just run past it to the corner

Shox throws that molotov because of the smoke on the boost, since you can't lineup it normally.

Just to clear things up, this pistol round by G2 was created by Furia, the brazilians used this pistol against NRG i think on the Americas Minor.

Did you see the game (don't know who it was) they showed the bomb running out A ramp on mirage the belted over to B and every one had rotated? It was a pistol strat, was pretty cool.

That was renegades, too. It was during their bo1 against NiP. They also had a really creative T pistol round on train against Avangar where they pushed from B back to A through connector. Seems like they really focused hard on pistol round strats.

Pretty sure Kaze's nick is pronounced "KA" (like Aussies pronounce "Car") and "ZE" (like "Zeh"). It means "wind" in Japanese. Similar to dive bombers in WW2 were called Kamikaze (Wind of God or Divine Wind)

I've heard kaze mostly pronounced as "kaw-zay". It's tough to know what's correct when announcers aren't even consistent.

i think vitality shouldn't have smoked ct that early, the two flashes are enough to force advent away...smoke it 10 sec later and alex wouldn't have been exposed to ct

@@raunopisa6832 yeah I have seen a lot of my demos but i have never seen myself lock on the guys head through the wall the move my mouse rapidly in order to break the lock. I don't try to hate on anyone but it was a hell of a "coincidence"
