I heard ALS is bad for your engine, is there any other way for the pops that doesn't bad for your engine?

@@itsav6349 Overall not that good for your engine and turbo, and it uses alot of fuel hehe. But if you keep it on a limit then i think its ok. Since I wrote the comment 4 months ago Iv installed a huge front mount intercooler, changed to bigger injectors and converted it to E85 - it's running 10x better. The changes i did helps the pops get bigger and louder.

What did you upgrade for your AUQ to be 240hp?. Just got myself an ARY Leon

@@BeyniLP It was some years ago now, but from what I remember: Stage 2 - Huge DO88 intercooler - Catless Downpipe - Open airfilter ( AEM ) Later on I went "stage 3" Following: Stage 3 - Bigger Injectors ( Siemens 630cc ) - K04 Turbo KKK - Ethanol E85 - Bigger pipes for the turbo to get better flow Estimated to have around 300hp with stage 3

Thanks man! Ja dat heb je goed gezien, de oude einddemper was ook van PM en ik was zo tevreden over ze, dat ik er weer heen ben gegaan om de demper volledig te vervangen voor een rechte pijp haha

Hi! Thanks a lot! The setup for the sound is very specific and I doubt if it can be 100% replicated. As far as the exhaust goes: 3 inch custom downpipe, 200 cpi cat (which I think is pretty worn out since I can't pass MOT with it), muffler deletes all the way to the back. So effectively the catalytic converter is the only source that should muffle sound, but given how loud it is I think you can basically call it a straight pipe :)

Thank you aswell ^^ sure, I'm not looking for an exact replica of it, but the tone and especially the pops and bangs are amazing. Do you think I could get the pops and bangs with ECU and a Cobra Non-Res Exhaust (&Downpipe of course)? I also have to get TÜV, sadly 😂

@@gabrielvanya8245 oh man, tuv sucks. Yeah I guess you'll get nice pops and bangs with that setup. Are you going to upgrade the catalyc converter as well?

@@PostTraumaticChessDisorder of course. 200 cpi is the goal, HJS & Miltek offer some well made ones. Can't go for less because of TÜV, but I think that'll satisfy me for now :p

Hey man. Met stage op een 20VT zal je rond 250 pk uit gaan komen en dat is heel goed te controleren. Awd is natuurlijk mooi maar is geen must hoor.

@@PostTraumaticChessDisorder how much kilometers have the engine mate? I ask because I want to go k04064 with stock engine and i have 190.000 kilometers with good maintenance (auq engine code)+1 stage 240hp the last 50.000 kilometres.

@@DimoS... that sounds exactly like mine. I had around 200K too when I installed my K04-064. Just make sure to find a good tuner so the torque wont kick in too hard. The K04-064 is capable of developing well over 500 nm

@@PostTraumaticChessDisorder Yeah I have good tuner here in grecce with world record pass,1000+ hp 20vt etc... I just know that the torque must be low for reliability ... do you think it will last many kilometers without being forged ??? Do you know other cases like ours?....(now how much kilometrs you have mate?)

@@DimoS... I drove this over 4 years with this setup, it never broke down on me. Such a reliable engine these 20VTs. I traded it this summer for a mk6 gti with DSG. Make sure to always properly warm up the turbo and let it cool down, but you probably knew that 😉

@@weisshac Thanks!, 321 hp, 419 nm torque. Engine is performing at its limit currently, but I've driving with this setup for 1.5 years now, the tune is great!

i plan to do this setup in my Jetta, but with a 1.8t swap since it’s VR6 right now. what bar of boost are you at? you’re welcome i’m kinda obsessed with this TFSi turbo
