Zhansi the most important thing is your exhaust. Bigger downpipe, racing catalic, bigger center pipe. This will give an immediate result. Furthermore a front mount intercooler helps as well as a bigger inlet. Tune it up and you will see a pretty big gain in power ;)

Link'sFaceOfEvil would you mind suggesting good brands or a list of brands for these items? so I can go and do my research with prices etc. did you also find it easy to install all the parts yourself? I hope I'm not being annoying with all these questions! I also live in the UK

Zhansi good exhaust brands are supersprint, milltek, remus, cobra but do also inform at a custom exhaust maker. Customs are sometimes even better (i've got a custom exhaust). installing an exhaust is tricky since you have to weld. I'm not a welder so I can't do it myself. Other parts are relatively easy to install, as long as you have the right tools, the correct tutorial and lots of patience ;)

Zhansi As for intercoolers: Forge is the best, but also the most expensive. It is the best because of its easiness in installing. I installed a cheap ebay kit (€ 350,-) and it performs better than a Forge, but it was a hell of a job (I lost my foglights in the process)

Hahaha thanks. Ik word er soms ook behoorlijk geil van :P. Ligt aan verschillende factoren. Sowieso aftermarket open filter, scheelt een hoop. Door de silicone intake hose is hij ook luider geworden. Verder helpen foefjes als het weghalen van de dempingsmat onder de motorkap ook behoorlijk :)

Ik heb nu een straight pipe, dus ik denk dat ik nu luider ben haha. Alles aan mijn auto is nu anders. Ik draai nu 331 pk met een turbo van een Scirocco R.

Yes the ko3s at 250 is maxed out I think . I just put a ko4 on my 1.8t and it's now only at 270bhp 😂😂

jbrvuurwerk wat je sowieso moet doen is een grotere en dikkere uitlaatlijn. Dus grotere downpipe, grotere middenpijp zonder demper en sport katalysator. Een grotere Turbo Inlet pipe is ook belangrijk. Dan nog: graad koudere bougies, alle rubberen slangen vervangen voor silicone, front mount intercooler, grotere open filter en dan uiteindelijk laten afstellen. Als je echt boven de 240 wil uitkomen zul je E85 moeten toevoegen (10 liter) en dan geluk hebben met de staat van je turbo en motorblok. Succes!

thanks buddy! Yes it's stock turbo. Pretty maxed out as is. Next step would be a CR turbo with more capacity but preferably plug n play.

+Jozef Behan The stock turbo is capable of 1.35. It's a K03S you know :). CR is an aftermarket upgrade make. I found they were quite reasonably priced.

+JahnTrahn I have the same engine as you, but everything is stock in this time. I would like to buy turbo from cupra r K04, better injectors, big front FMIC and some good remap :-) I hope that in this summer it will be done :-)

+Jozef Behan nice plans mate. Don't forget upgraded spark plugs and big bore intake hose as well as Forge Diverter valve. If you run fuel on 10 to 20 % bio ethanol E85 mixture you'll be looking at massive gains :)

I've always believed a proper tuned 250 bhp feels/looks faster than a 255 that started already at 225. I think you brought your LCR to a moderate tuner (please correct me if i'm wrong) whose dyno figures aren't trustworthy. Do you know what boost peaks you get?

Perfo. Turbocharged there is no mechanical difference between the 150 hp and 180 hp 1.8t so with the same mods and the same tune they will make the roughly the same power

Im pretty sure the cupra has the k03s turbo where as the passat has the k03 turbo , the k03s is capable of 250hp max , k03 210hp and thats pushing it to its limits.

Raugh Out Roud I have one that’s running 200 bhp and 300 nm of torque and it puts the power down well, contemplating upping it to 250 bhp but imagine it’ll be slower because it’ll just spin up everywhere
