According to my Art teacher, he worked on 8 Crazy nights as an animator. They were being overworked for little pay which is how that film managed to have such good animation. Needless to say, this awful experience turned him away from animation, and now he has a graphic novel series called Corgi.

people give Cory a lot of shit for the strange gaps in his awareness sometimes. but Chris has very clearly and consciously made the decision to forget several pieces of crucial basic information to make room for a beat-for-beat perfect memorization of 8 crazy nights. he would willingly forget math, entirely, if it meant he could shave an extra half second off the difference between his impression and the pacing of the lines in the movie. and that is terrifying.
