In Italy we have a lot of beautiful things. But Morricone will always be our greatest pride

The contrast beween reality and imagination: Sitting in a concert hall without daylight, wearing a suit, seeing an orchestra, men with bow ties, violins, a choir, clarinets... But your ears insists that the sun burns on your skin, the dust of an endless horizon itches in your nose, you are alone in the world, driven by sadness, pain an the thought of revenge, and that this is the moment everything has been leading to.

+Smoking Cat Moved on, yeah sure! Contemporary film music is usually composed by a guy named "Copy/Paste". The "original" is Hans Zimmer. Even the awesome John Williams imitated him (or was "asked" to) in the last "Star Wars" directed by the Walt Disney corporation. That's the problem: the younger generation is exposed to music dictated by people who see the movies just as a business, don't take any risks, go the safe way: remakes, remakes of remakes, reboots, franchises and Hans Zimmer soundalikes. Want a great contemporary movie soundtrack? Buy a software called "Symphobia", play at random with two fingers and you're done. Trust me. Google it. P.S. or go "wall to wall pop songs" using rap/hip hop or '60s retro stuff with a depressing "singer songwriter"-style title tune.

This main title of the famous western movie is dedicated to the awesome composer and conductor Morricone by Munich's Radio Orchestra (Münchner Rundfunkorchester) and was recorded live in 2010. I admire Ennio Morricone. As a rather crap harmonica player I would love to play like him. From one of my favorite movies.

My Gosh! That music was scary when I was a kid (I'm 54 now). I slightly remember it in a movie, now I know it's from a Western movie ( I guess "the Good, The Bad and the Ugly). The same thing happened when I stumbled upon a recommended video: "Doctor Who (1963) - Original Theme music video". While watching this, as it sent shivers down my spine, I couldn't tell exactly why the music and the black and white psychedelic images were frightening. After some time, and digging in the internet and my memory, I could recall that it was a program my elders used to watch when I was 5-7 years old. I couldn't read by then, but the shape of the letters "dr. WHO" and the peculiar sound of the music were hard grafted in my memory. Sorry for the long post, I needed to vent this out. And sorry for any grammar mistakes, Spanish is my native language.
