I can see where your leading but nah modding is fun as hell give it a try

@@sysmecgoose i gotta respectfully disagree. Its been a huge pain in the bottom for a long time but since the full source code leak and subsequent mods, the game is nearly unplayable. The mods make the lobby unstable. You can't make it 15 minutes in a public lobby on PC without game crash to desktop due to modders destabilizing the by spawning random crap, or causing the crashes on purpose, targeting individual players, lobby chasing, etc etc. It's always at the end of a mission too, and these idiots crash the lobby or teleport you or surround you with a hundred vampires. When every single day, you can't play anything at all without getting interrupted by selfish a$$hats and having to start all over, except you probably won't have time to do that either because they're just going to interrupt you again no matter how many times you change Lobby. And even solo lobby glitch constantly rolls over to public so there's no avoiding it. It literally ruins the game for everyone. Not to mention that most of the time, the modders are not having fun, they're tormenting people. Many mod menus have far more nefarious options than spawning hot air balloons like stealing from players accounts, ddos-ing their rig or baiting them with chests and getting them banned, getting your ip, cloning your account and using it to attack other players so that you get banned as a griefer, the examples are endless. With the exception of solo rp lobbies, modding is a huge problem and it affects everyone to such an extreme degree that they can't even play the game no one else can have any fun. If people can't play the game and can't have fun they will just stop playing. on Steam over the past year, we have consistently been breaking records for new players on Red Dead online, if anything could possibly get rockstar's attention and resuscitate this game, it is all the new pc players and the modders are running them all off. they're all quitting immediately which is just helping this game die even faster because it looks like they're quitting because the game sucks, even though it's really clear on Reddit that everyone's just quitting because of the modders. I really can't stress enough the single greatest problem that Red Dead online has right now besides r*'s disinterest, is modders, who at best are clueless as to just how much harm they are causing and at worst, are antisocial id!ots wasting our time before they end up in prison.
