Yes. The 80's and 90's were great in case of movie making. Either if the film was a flop or not, no franchise was to crazy not to be filmed.

He retired from acting to raise his children after his wife sadly died. While it is perhaps a shame we didn't see more of him, he by far did the right thing for his family.

Porbably because they can see it as it is, a comedy which highlights the racial issues across many backgrounds. i mean ffs there's a scene with hightower and the use of the very bad word. Maybe you're just figuring out that old movies aren't always acceptable by todays standard
