we can't even praise the girls in peace. 😅 as i've said on my previous post, we acknowledge that they are not the best gg vocalists, we just want to appreciate their hardwork as fans. you can see the crowd was so hyped up and people who actually *paid* to see them were satisfied and entertained as well. most videos highlight their 'not so good' moments, ignoring the whole performance. but personally, i enjoyed the show. 😊

The reason im not bothered by the negativity is because regardless of how they performed they would've received backlash anyway. Soo many sheep who like to jump on hate bandwagons and I already expected it. I love the girls I think they did great and need to be proud what they achieved. People will always hate you when you're successful, it comes with being extremely jealous.

Chaewon was most stable until the last song yunjin had the energy but Sakura was freaking amazing when her volume wasn’t low. The younger one only had one good song but she dances so hard she gets a pass

I always said Sakura actually always doing better than Eunchae & Kazuha...her voice sometimes came out shaking in live but never out of tune or off key like the two formers..but many people attacked me The problem with Sakura's live was she always self conscious & she always singing while put her tongue in rooftop of her mouth especially in her Korean... when in here finally she open her mouth it make here can grasp more air to sustain longer breath that affects her voice is less shaking & more stability It also make her voice comes out very full & less nasality in her voice

Solid vocal performance overall - especially considering it’s their first fully live gig. 95% of the vocals were good in all the clips I’ve watched. Sakura had power and projection - singing from her diaphragm this time for stability. She clearly had some recent training and good for her for working on her one weakness. _Edit: I’m just a casual Kpop listener with 20+ years of audio engineering and music teaching experience. Trust my unbiased perspective when I say Le Sserafim put on a highly entertaining performance with good vocals._

I agree. They all sound good to me. Are there some off notes here and there? Sure. Listen to anyone else at Coachella. They all have that. It’s part of live singing. It’s a KZfaq stream of a live performance, so any criticism has gotta be taken with a huge grain of salt. Plus, they were clearly going for a more raw, less technically perfect performance. It’s Coachella. You’re supposed to get the crowd going.

@@KamenRider808 It’s not even about opinions for me. It’s not about whether they’re singing good or not. (I think they are, but whatever). It’s more about knowing that Coachella ain’t about that. I think a lot of non-Americans think of Coachella as the pinnacle of vocal performers or something. It ain’t. It’s an American music festival. It’s about putting on a big production, bringing in fun guest stars, and the crowd partying hard. Singing quality isn’t anywhere on the list.

As a Sakura stan when watching online streaming I was very anxious (*Not because I don't believe in her, but because I'm afraid of the effects of haters' comments ahead of Coachella) But when they just started performing and heard her part I was very relieved and wanted to cry seeing that she had improved so much. Sakura rap in the new song 1-800-HOT & FUN also mothering, slay, and so hot. Also when they performed the song Perfect Night, the crowd sang along with Sakura's part 😭 Proud of your all Fimmies!! Haters will always be there because they have a lot of free time and no more focus on supporting their Idol group stan anymore, but for LE SSERAFIM always makes Fearnot proud and even made us become more loyal, bring us to victory! 🔥💙

Sounds like they were all both a little nervous and excited to be performing there, which is completely expected. Given how much they're all moving around the stage, voices will sound a little shaky sometimes (try singing long notes while jumping up and down). Overall it seemed like a good performance. Not sure why people are so down on them. The mixes from Cochella are all live and any backing tracks are not very present. If someone is expecting perfection, just listen to the album.

What people have to understand is that LE SSERAFIM not only focuses on vocals on their performances, their choreo and dancing are always harder and more tiring than most kpop girlgroups, and they spend a bunch of their time perfecting their dance. So it's very unfair and unreasonable for anyone to demand that they sing better than other girlgroups who got less tiring and easier choreos.

That is the problem. They are supposed to be singers. SINGERS!!!! They are supposed to be able to sing live. A performance is supposed to be about live singing. The dance and choreography is supposed to accentuate the song and not be the reason for subpar vocals. If they truly want to create a great performance than tone down on the choreo and focus more on live vocals.

I was disappointed in Yunjin tbh. She did okay but I was expecting better from her. But overall I thought it was good. It wasn’t special like their end of the year performances. But it wasn’t bad. They def ran out of gas towards the end. But it was learning experience for them an they will hopefully do better next Saturday!! Idk why they get the hate they do. They seem like genuine people

Yeah i was shocked to see yunjin makes so many mistakes and chaewon too at times... Sakura is the one who improved the most, while there is some low mic volue issues, she sings so stable and not off-pitched/off-key. The rap during new song is good..

My opinion is she kept trying to go higher because there was a lot of times the vocals sounded distance and she was overcompensating. Only Eunchae and Chaewon sounded loud enough in my headphones, noise canceling on and everything, and that might be a mic thing. But I agree that it wasn’t her best and I hope next weekend she can just focus on keeping a stable performance.

That’s not really what Coachella is about, anyways. No one’s there to listen to good or bad singing. Just listen to anyone else there. They’re there for a raucous, raving good time. I think a lot of K-pop fans expect perfect vocal performance going into this thing, but that’s just not the vibe of American music festivals.
