*Before you judge me for spelling 'Cheers' incorrectly, it's on purpose (because John Mahoney does it that way in the Cheers clip I used).
Some other things worth noting: these clips aren't mine. The ads don't make me any money...and the intro song is something I found.
Here is where the intro/outro song is from:
• Redbone but it's Marty... *
At 77 years young, actor John Mahoney passed away today. Frasier is one of my favorite shows, thanks in part to its cast (including John Mahoney as Frasier's dad, Martin Crane). His performances in Coen Bros films Hudsucker Proxy and Barton Fink weren't meaty, however, John made them stand out. He did the same with Martin Crane, turning out an impressive arc over the course of 11 seasons. As a widowed, handicapped, curmudgeonly ex-cop father of two elitist psychiatrists, Martin, with his trusty cane and his Ballantine, wisecracked his way into our hearts. These are just some of the amazing moments I could think of, featuring one of the best TV dads (I obviously don't own the rights to these clips, i found them on KZfaq!) --- With all these old shows coming back, I can't imagine a Frasier reunion without him. Enjoy the view and lemme know in the comments about the great scenes I missed :P
** RIP John Mahoney **

My favorite line from Marty was when he, Niles, and Frasier had to pick up Daphne on the floor, and he says, "Daphne, I just thought of something funny: it took three Cranes to lift you!". I remember laughing so hard after that line, I was in tears. Lol

Favorite Marty episode: Frasier buys Freddy educational toys for Christmas, while Marty thinks he should get Freddy the most wanted toy of the season. So sad John Mahoney is gone now. Martin sure had the best lines. Plus even though Frasier was the one who blurted out to Daphne how Niles truly feels about her in Season 7's "Back Talk", it was really Martin who got the ball rolling. The moment he said "I've kept my mouth shut for 6 years, I'm not saying anything now.", there was clearly no turning back (even though Daphne thought it was Frasier who had feelings for her).
