Born in London in 1997, Miko has received worldwide recognition for her dancing. She won Prizes in many worldwide competitions such as Moscow International Ballet Competition, Varna and Prix de Lausanne. She's listed as one of "The Most Influential People of 2011" in the Dance Spirit Magazine.

Her performances were very special and she is definitely one of the best ballerina for me. I'm happy that she found her passion and made the best choice for herself, but I can't deny that I really wanted to see her outstanding performance much longer. Wish her all the best.

Gorgeous as always...such talent, line, technique. I think she has graduated from Medical School by now....what a choice she had to make. I can watch her perfecion endlessly.

So beautiful - never tire of watching these. Ballet is tough - if you're as good as she is it's because you love it so much, but the training and physical cruelty of it often beat the love out of you. It's wonderful that she found a way to be able to love dancing and share that still, and to bring her experience to something else she loves.

I always felt like she had an excellent stage presence and épaulement, she wasn’t just another competition kid with extensions and triples but nothing else. I'm happy she found what she wanted to do with her life but she would have been a beautiful professional dancer if she had decided to continue with it. Does anyone know if her contract was not renewed by Birmingham or if she chose to leave?

She left. There's no such thing as "not getting a renewed contract" or getting fired from royal or birmingham. That contract pretty much lasts until you decide to leave or retire.

I believe - - at age 10 Fogarty danced Kitri - - and I thought she'd danced it quite beautifully - - also - - she performed so gorgeously "Lollipops" 😍. Thank you for this post - - @ DanceLine Ballet.

No, these are all old performances. She is teaching still though, and i believe getting some sort of degree in biology or medicine.

@@augustalavenderblue7353 Thank you for the update. She is still young and can get her degree and still return to dancing if she wants. Many have done just that as we all well know. Sometimes we just need a few years to take some time off and reflect on what we really want to do. She has been performing already for years at a perfessional level, doing variations that some of the professionals find challenging. Burn out happens but the love for dance never dies!

@@rivermountain7315 she decided she never wants to do it again because it was physically destroying her, she was getting sick from not eating and she lost her passion once she was really sick
