For a Start what a video brilliant stuff! Another reason I was drawn to it was I've been looking for probably the most famous manta 400 footage (Ari+Terry in the Manx DEAR GOD! Only the footage I had was recorded on the day it happened but it was shown later with added music this incredible group B stage had the background music to the rock band called Van Halen and it was called (JUMP) this footage and along with the sound of the engine of the manta flat out with the combination of that tune (JUMP) playing in the background was like the ultimate music to your ear's BUT now this one off clip of the stage has gone (I had it on VHS cassette) along side other group B video cassettes even the documentary's Too Fast To Race and hours of other footage some of it now available on KZfaq I've still got these cassettes of group B and the group A stuff stockpiled 2- and 3- hr tapes I eventually snapped the plastic tab off the cassettes to stop it happen again, I've always said I'll get them put on DVD's but there is just too many hours of the stuff plus I'm still old school a hammer and nails guy not a computer wizard (computers are not my department ) as I tell people I can only go on KZfaq and Google stuff other than that I'm admittedly useless on them,so getting to my question - has anyone got this same clip of of this famous stage recording OR does anyone know how to mix that famous Dear God with the same song (jump) in the background so they are in tandem with each other so it's a recreation of it as I certainty haven't got the know how to mix it plus I wouldn't know were to start maybe then put it on KZfaq because I've been looking for it for years trying to find it without any success, even my brother still talks about it to this day " he was into his car's he had a mk1 and a mk 2 RS2000 / mk2 RS1800 Mexico, Capri 2.8i moonstone blue he even had an old VW beetle with full denim interior limited addition after a while he sold the lot now he lives a few miles away and drive's around in a standard VW Golf ,so only for my dad recording a comedy show called DADS ARMY I'd still obviously still have it,I went ballistic that day "" "you stupid b*stard I shouted!!! Who recorded a sh*t comedy show on my tape you've ruined it! Then my dad came home from work and said " oh that was me! I was obsessed with group B as a kid I've even still got a 1/10 tamiya R/C O37 I got when I was 13yrs old it's collecting dust in the Attic but it still work's - years later my mother said "That bloody thing cost me more than two weeks wages to buy and get built"! Thinking of it £200 was a lot of money in 1983 when you've got (4) kids to buy presents for at Christmas especially when your mum was a nurse and my dad a joiner and certainly wasn't wealthy but they got by now they're in their 70's cooked up like the rest of us, Anyway that's my little COVID lockdown story so stay safe everyone and goodbye!
