The sound ranging artillery spotting was ignored by British higher HQs, so they shopped around until the Canadian Corps accepted their ideas. They were instrumental in locating nearly every German gun defending Vimy Ridge. These guns were all destroyed or suppressed on the first day of the Vimy Offensive (9-12 Apr 1917), enabling most of the ridge to be captured in the first day of the the attack.

I have watched several ‘reaction’ videos of the movie Jaws. On all of them watched by ladies, when the dog went into the sea, they all said “ Oh, not the dog!” None of them said “Oh, not the people!” 😕

5:29 "there's a limit to how much fun....." that takes me back to xmas 1987, Ilfracombe, Devon, The Bunch of Grapes Public House. A small group of us began singing some cheerful song, which others joined in - at which the landlord shushed everyone and told us all to stop. One person piped up _"we were only being cheerful"_ to which our gleeful host replied "there's a limit to how cheerful anyone should be" and demanded we all leave. At Xmas ....... (so spontaneously everyone stole the balls from the pool table and compared the number they got once outside).

And, I saw a Mola Mola just off the coast of New Jersey. I was on a fishing trip and the captain got a call on the radio so we reeled in and went to see it. It was every bit of 6' by 8', lying flat on the surface. The captain told us that sharks took big bites out them, because they were too easy.

I have a problem with that shark video at 19:00. If it's the music that causes fear then you could use the music in isolation and get a fear response, which I don't think is likely.

Willie Reginald Wray wasn't the only one to post himself. African American Henry "Box" Brown was an enslaved man who posted himself to freedom in the USA. He moved to the UK 🇬🇧 where he became a magician. After some years, he returned to the USA where he was activist and abolitionist. He moved to Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 died and was buried there.

I always wanted to be in the audience for that QI question abiut the balloons so I could point out the elves were wrong. The balloons do not go backwards. They continue to move forwards, but relative to the motion of the vehicle around them they appear to move backwards. If you view the balloons from the outside they will always be moving in the same direction, at no point will they move backwards (until they bounce off something or get yanked back by their tether)

The kid in the machine wanted the other dinosaur for his twin brother. Phil Collins uses the repetitive of 3 in his music. Naw, the Velveeta Voldemort is VERY orange and very over sensitive 😂 "Getting proper jobs" from a group of comedians😂😂

Its probably 4 - 4 timing, waits 3 beats, adds something on the 4th. He wouldnt have been so popular if it was 3 3 timing. That would of pissed people off and none of them would of known why.

@@daneenmurf1043 kind of. There are air ducts in the walls of the house that the heating system forces warm air through. Some systems also can do cold air in summer.

Some do. Probably was a 60s/70s thing because I remember our house had that in the early 70s. I suppose radiators are more efficient, so no air ducts built these days.

The real reason why there are more dog videos on youtube than cat videos is because humans are the one uploading them. If cats and dogs can upload videos I assure you the cats are gonna beat us and the dogs by tenfold, and all of the videos are just vlogs

I find more dog people will say they don't like cats but less cat people will say they don't like dogs. Many cat fiends I know love animals generally, including dogs.

If you can cope with cats, you'll cope with a wider variety of animals! Dogs, being rather pack-needy, can make their owners mutually needy and in-ward turning.

@GizmoOnyett totally agree. Dog lovers are very insular. I love cats best, but I can appreciate dogs (they're just too much work - may as well have another child 🙄). I also have 2 rabbits and love them as much as my 3 cats ❤

As a both cats & dogs lover, I've found myself with more cats as I get older ( 65 ) simply because cats don't need to be exercised - they're the pet of the lazy 🤣 & yes I've acknowledged that about myself for many years 👍👍❤️🤣
