I got a dash cam just because of this channel. I never realized how crazy people could be and that having a dash cam could be the difference between you having to pay for damage out of pocket or their insurance covering it

even scarier are the uninsured, your dashcam means nothing unless you got a lawyer friend and sue them for civil damages and garnish their wage and sized their properties to pay it off. Having uninsured coverage is worth it if you own nice pricey cars.

Me too, and what's funny is coincidentally it seems like once I started driving with a dashcam I started catching crazy things on video I never encountered when I didn't use it. People overtaking over double yellow lines, speeders getting pulled over live, etc. I just rewatch them and laugh

Tbf, the other guy did drive into the oncoming traffic lane, cut him off, then slammed his brakes to come to a complete stop on a green with nobody directly in front of him. Guy even admitted to brake checking on cam so he's gonna be put 100% at fault by admission.

Cammer was definitely at fault in all of his interactions. 1. He clearly did not look before entering the roadway. 2. He pulled into the left lane, rather than the required right lane. 3. He even pulled into the suicide lane (maybe to cut off the guy who was trying to go around him?). 4. Then he tailgates the car that passed his dumb ass. 5. And hits the other car when he had to brake for traffic. 6. Dude wasn't brake checking. There were straight up cars in front of the guy. 7. And all that "why you speeding" crap? Depends on state law and local ordinance. It's fairly common where you can: when there is a dotted white line through the intersection.

IMO it should be illegal. That being said, it's generally legal in most states. That also looks like California which means it's 100% legal to change lanes in an intersection.

its like an unspoken rule to not switch lanes when someone is turning right at a red, stop sign, or any intersection. i thought the cammer was in the wrong. no one ever really stops 100% at a stop sign and they dont assume they're going to merge into the other lane when they're already in a lane

Not everyone records their sound. Whether it's two-party consent laws or just certain privacy implications. Also, if it's the built-in Tesla dashcam, there is no sound. Combined with all the other shit you said, yeah, totally sus. Just wanted to mention possible reasons for the lack of sound.

They want to share the road with vehicles, yet they can't follow the laws of the road like vehicles have to.. I have so many issues with bicyclists, I have 0 respect for them.. the crap I have seen and dealt with because they are all over where I live and work..

No it’s actually better here if you don’t live in the big cities like Amsterdam because we have a lot of cities with separate bike lanes. Like not even in or connected to the same roads. And you grow up here biking everywhere that’s close so once you start driving you know what to look out for most of the time.

my repeated comments 3:40 This is why legally when you turn, you're supposed to turn into the closest lane to you. In the actual accident, the cammer is 75% at fault for speeding up like that and not maintaining a safe following distance, the other 25% is for non-working break lights (either scam tactics or people too damn lazy to fix them even though they are required to). And no it wasn't a break check despite what was said, there is a physical car that is stopped (just like the other cars) right in front of the other driver. if the other driver didn't break, they most likely would have hit the car in front. The following clip is a good example of a break check, no immediate car stopped in front. What cammer in clip 6 is what all drivers should try to do, sending in video evidence of reckless driving with clear indications of the license plate and tags. 8:40 I'm actually not even sure if cammer was in a lane. yeah funny that the guy got out to have his friend cut through traffic like that. Just want to note at 8:58, that yellow sign is the one that allows mergers with a lane ending right of way to merge, other than that I don't know why they break so early like that. 11:10 Cammer is in the wrong for this one, 1. he got out of the bike lane, 2. he merged over like that, 3. he's literally in the crosswalk. yeah, the car tried to hit the other man but does make cyclist in the right to do that shit, no. 11:36 You're not supposed to change lanes within any intersection, yes another car has a stop sign but the statement still stands 12:30 I find this common, people in large vehicles really do not know how large their vehicle is. I often see pick-up drivers drift into other lanes, not full-blown cut someone off but drift over the line.

This is not true. That guy was an ass but the left lane is always the passing lane even in cities. Anywhere that there are two lanes, the right lane is for traffic flow and the left lane is for passing people in the right lane. It says so directly in the handbook. There is no “fast lane” you have to go the speed limit at all times (legally). However the speed limit is just a limit, so it’s not illegal to go 52mph in a 60mph speed limit zone, but if the person behind you wants to go 60mph then they have the right to pass you in the left lane. Unless a lane is designated for a purpose (think of “left turn only” lanes) then any double lane with dotted lines follows the rule of left hand lane = passing, right hand lane = flow of traffic. Read your handbook ! Lol

Instead, he pulled off to the left & crossed the aqua line into the car’s lane. Even if the Beemer wasn’t turning right, the Beemer would have had to swerve a little to his left to avoid the bicyclist when going straight.

When you drive long enough you start to be able to identify bad drivers really easily. Every comment misses the point and acts dense when the cammer ended up being validated when the motorcyclist goes way too slow. If you can't at least handle driving the speed limit and keeping up with the flow of traffic, don't drive. Especially as a motorcycle you're harder to see and extremely fragile compared to a car. Being predictable and keeping up with traffic is crucial to staying safe.

Always try everything to avoid an accident, but with that being said, Cammer was likely in the right. Not a lot of states have laws against changing lanes in an intersection, it's just a common courtesy that people wrongly believe is a law. Turning vehicle is 100% at fault.

literally lmfao. i always wait till i pass the dude turning before i merge 1 because i have no idea what the other drivers are gonna do and 2 it's just the safer option for both parties. she had nothing but daylight in front of her but she decided to slow down and merge infront of the stop sign lmfao. you can obviously tell the red car was trying to get ahead of the car coming up in that lane thats why he basically ran the stop sign. Both were in the wrong but IMO the cammer could've easily avoided that with basic driving knowledge.
