One of my favorites, I have watched this about 5 times. I have RhinoUSA Traction boards, DRings and a Kinetic Rope. After my last recovery, I realize I need tow straps, hitch shackles and snatch blocks. This month I can afford tree straps and soft shackles.

That's your opinion. Your channel is the only channel I watch that uses Rhino gear . Every other channel I watch use Factor 55 and they say they are the best so it's a opinion everyone has one . Still like what you do . Thanks for the videos

Lots of guys run Rhino gear, they’re just sponsored by someone else. Some of the other brands definitely make solid gear, but Rhino has a better warranty and price. It’s never let me down and most people would never use the equipment as much as me. But yeah, just my two cents, use whoever you like 👍

Well, I think Matt's off-road recovery uses his gear more than you . And the other guy from Florida. Florida off-road recovery. He goes into Georgia and all over, and he owns a towing company, so yea, they are using their gear more than you .

Rory Irish uses rhino gear, so does both Casey’s, and Blake with BSF, I’ve even seen Matt use rhino gear. But my statement was that I use Rhino gear more than anyone. Plus, most of these companies only make a handful of products, Rhino has over 100 and consistently adding more. Just my two cents but there’s no need to pay more for something, especially when it has less of a warranty. But again, use whatever brand you want 👍

Saw you check in on that stuck truck in the gated area in the rescue group. Wife and I were ready to load up but aren’t keyholders. Maybe we’ll see you out elsewhere! Loved the vid where you dropped gear on trash cleanup. We were up in Tallahassee last weekend and filled a couple bags with white claw cans and boxes. Twisted tea also seems popular lol

I have the rhino 100ft static tow strap and the 3 smaller black ones with the metal buckles and the rhino tool bag that rolls up. Shits expensive!!! I need some soft shackles and kinetic rope and a snatch block 😭

I have an extra 100’ line, never needed it tho. Usually just an extra tow strap or two works.

You've probably never had to deal with Rhino and their warranty department! Even though they claim unlimited lifetime warranty, it's not that simple! When you talk to Jake (warranty department) on the phone or email, he's only speaks in a condescending tone and encourages you to keep using a damaged products and keep using them even though this would be unsafe. This one interaction alone has put a very sour taste in my mouth for Rhino

What is the breaking strength of the smallest diameter kinetic rope ? I would love to add one of those to my kit. Limited room in my truck.

Sxs rope is good for 15k, 7/8th is good for 30k and is what you should be running for most trucks

have you ever considered a high idle switch for when your winching? I've thought about it a few times and it would be handy in the event that you need to control the winch from outside the vehicle.

Trail dash 3 has this as an option. I keep it on one of the 3 screens I use. Adjustable to what rmp you want

Wes, gong back and catching up on all the fantastic videos. I just got a new bumper and winch in the Tundra. So now what? What gear do I start with? On a bit of a budget so it will be piece meal. My winch (synthetic) has a hook, so strap maybe?

What winch ropes are you running, I have a warn VR EVO 10s and first time i used it (yes i rewraped in under load, not my first winch never had an issue with my badlands) rope melted to the drum under a hard pull on the last spool. I picked up a Rhino USA winch rope but when i got it says on the box that it is 4333 WLL 13k break strength. The break strength is similar to other brands 3/8s ropes but I don't see anyone listing there WLL at 1/3 of total break strength is there a reason for that and what do you recommend. my 21 ranger is over that 4333 WLL.

How many miles do you have on the jku and did you have the dreaded lifter problem? I have a 2015 jk and I had to replace my lifters and rockers at 68000 miles

185,000 hard miles. Motor runs well still, it only ticks on a cold start for a couple seconds.

Yes, they manufacture overseas to keep a competitive price. However, they design most products here, then it’s built to our build specs, then tested back here in the states.
