If your looking into a electric skateboard that can really go off road and offers a unique suspension that can help with stability and comfort when riding it then the propel endeavor s boards are something that you may be interested in. In this video, I will be comparing the new endeavor s versus the old endeavor s and provide you with all the information I can in helping you decide which one to possibly get. I’ll go over the similarities and differences and talk about my experiences with riding them. So hopefully you can decide if the new endeavor s is worth it. That was a pretty good review man. quick question though: I am actually looking to upgrade from zealot S to Endeavor S. I've only seen the 1S in person so far but you reckon that if the range and top speed is the same, is it worth spending extra money to get the 2S over 1S only for city commuting/riding ?

Personally I’ve seen a good amount of improvements on the 2S in terms of what propel found out needed to be improved but after using it here for over a month I’d still go with the 1S considering they are pretty much the same with the same specs. That extra money you don’t spend on the 2S can go into accessories you’ll want to add to the 1S👍

Great Video. I know you published this 10 months ago - any updates on your thoughts on this board since then? I was originally going pull the trigger on a Meepo Hurricane Ultra but now strongly considering getting a 2S as it seems more versatile (I'll be using this in suburbs and parks/trails). Any thoughts between the two would be appreciated. Again thanks for the Video.

Great question! I’ve really enjoyed my endeavor S and I’ve definitely noticed why propel made the changes that they’ve made on the 2S with the design on the rear with the motors and belts as my endeavor s did run into some issues with noise and things getting into the rear suspension and belts more easily than when compared to the 2S but overall the performance and what it does is great off road. The suspension is awesome with how it handles most terrain and potholes. It makes the riding experience much more comfortable and you would easily notice that when compared to the hurricane or Exway atlas. I’ve never tried out the hurricane but Ive heard good things about it. However I did test out the Exway atlas with terrain wheels and it just doesn’t feel as great like the endeavor board when going off road or riding over various terrain. So if your getting a board for both the streets and trails the endeavor is where it’s at in my opinion but if if you aren’t going to be riding a lot of park trails or off roading than a hurricane or atlas would be great choices. @@T3CHUP Thank you for the thoughtful and prompt reply. This pretty much seals it for me and going to go with the Endeavor 2S. Was tempted to upgrade to the Endeavor 2GT but I know I don't need the extra speed/power and doubt I'll need the range. The only thing I hear might be worth it on the 2GT is the better Controller/ESC. Thanks so much!

@@mxnamvar what did you get in the end? I like the carbon deck, and the range, tho i also doubt ill need it, as ill still have my exway flex. But i do like the integrated lights in the 2GT. Expensive tho

New to e boards and researching 2S. What is the turning radius if you wanted to make a U-turn? Can it be done on a standard residential road? I'm older (58) and heavier (245lbs) but still enjoy getting out and playing around. Having a hard time deciding on a Onewheel GT or a board. Two totally different machines but I don't want to make the wrong choice.

So the turning radius on these boards is a lot bigger compared to a onewheel. You’ll be able to make a u turn on a residential road but when it comes down making turns on residential sidewalks it will be harder. Most of the time with sharp sidewalk turns I’m not able to make it. With a onewheel it’s a breeze to make a u turn on a road or a sharp turn on a sidewalk. Hope this helps.

2s is faster, different gear in the rear, thats the main performance difference, otherwise, internally, they are the same.

Can you push it easily if you run out of battery power? Is the battery pack replaceable?

Yeah you can push the board when it runs out of battery but it has a good amount of resistant due to it being a belt driven board. It’s not worth pushing it like a regular skateboard. As for the battery pack being replaceable…if you need to replace it you can and you can buy a battery separately from the propel website.

Someone needs to do a fall video. Like a how-to guide in case you go down. Perhaps on a golf course or something where it's not gonna hurt you too bad. All the gear on. I hit a rock and going flying forward, here's my strategy on how to fall. Or, I lost my balance and falling off the back. Here's how I plan on handling the crash. Perhaps pay a stunt man if you can find one willing to fall.

I own the endeavor s 2 and the breaking is jerky. Did you find that as well? Is there a way to adjust that? Only when I am almost at a full stop. Thanks

I actually find the acceleration jerky (twitchy) the more I’ve been using it. It’s not as smooth as my onewheel or some other electric boards that I’ve tried, but the breaking hasn’t been jerky for me. You can however adjust the braking on it like you adjust the speed. It all can be configured on your remote.

@@T3CHUP thanks for the reply. I have tried the breaking adjustment on the remote and it still happens on each of the settings. I wonder if the belts have something to do with it.

Quality of your vid is pretty good. However, I can't agree on the quality of the board. I have one of the original S models and the battery is very weak. I reached out to Propel, and they basically brushed it off. I took the battery to a battery manufacturer in my area, and they basically laughed. Way too small for this board. The design of the suspension is outstanding. Loved the deck. But again, when taking this board (or my board) off road, it bogs down a lot. I basically get 12 miles per charge riding on concrete and in mode Pro. For a board of this size and power potential and in this day to have a 12S3P is probably smaller than it should be. Also, the board and ESC is very twitchy. I have had several people ride the board, and that is the first thing they say is how twitchy the board is and that it is not smooth at all. This board has been reviewed on my channel. Don't get me wrong, I have always said this is a technical marvel in the suspension design, but in the drive design (electrical) is a boat anchor. Not trying to be a downer, but at $1500, the electrical of this board should be better.

I recently got an s1 and get 25 m concrete and 15 miles on steep dirt trails. 500 miles on it and same range so far.

Can you suggest a more suitable alternative at this price - with this style of suspension?

Yeah poor cell choice for performance, they prioritised range and budget over giving the board enough power for actual off road use. The pro model isn’t a lot better, they should’ve gone with p42a or 40t cells, would still be decent range vs budget but more suitable power output for an off road board.

Razor scooters share the same wheel size can pickup a scooter or two for 10$ and use it for wheels and tubes I’m sure wheels for this from manufacturers aren’t cheap

Beware purchasing from Propel when requesting a refund. I’ve made a purchase for propel endeavor S and they said,”out of stock”, but they have a later version, endeavor 2s. They stop responding to my email when requesting a refund, so I had to request a dispute from my credit card institute.

Between your onewheel and this, if you had to choose one, which one would you choose?

It all depends if you’re looking for a board in which you can travel long distances and have good stability and great comfort I’d pick a electric skateboard (endeavor) but if you’re planning on going short distances and want easier turns with ease of use I’d go with a onewheel. 👍 hope that helps!

@@pavelkarpenko8713 recently it’s been the endeavor since I’ve been riding more with friends this summer and it offers more range and speed. I really can’t say I like one over the other. I look at them differently when it comes down to different situations both have their pros and cons I wouldn’t be able to give you a straight answer to which one I like more 😅
