Just started playing Olimar again after a hiatus since his initial introduction in smash3. I miss having 6 Pikmin in the chamber but his recovery is alot better now and I couldn't even imagine the shenanigans during 8 player smash with all Olimars if he still had access to 6 Pikmin lol.

Everyone I’ve ever met has said Olimar is low tier which according to most tier lists isn’t true but I can honestly see why since He’s a tough character to play (also any matchup against a character with reflection capability is bad for him). Even then, Olimar is my second main and half of the reason why I play him is because pikmin is my favorite game series

That's the real reason to play any character. More people should make their picks based on the characters they personally like, as opposed to basing it off of where people place them on tier lists.

My plan is to master them all, right now olimar is my best main since I love his projectiles than a gun character, and it makes me feel so rewarded to keep the pikmins in track and do bread butter with them.

Olimar for me is the best character that nintedo has givine me other than kirby, but kirby was made by another company and nintedo saw how special the little pink round ball was and so they bought him. But i still faith in pikmin 4 i havent givin up yet!

I strictly main Olimar. When I started to, everyone I know who plays smash said that he is a ‘hated’ character and I never understood why. I mained him because I love the Pikmin games. He has a very steep learning curve when using him in smash because he is VERY different to all the others but once you learn his moves and how the Pikmin work (each one has different strengths/weaknesses) he is a very fun and powerful character to play

A character where his whole moveset is useless without his Pikmin is top tier, yet a character who's got strong attacks, but no good air game recovery is the worst in the game? Something ain't right.

Thing is that olimar can regain pikmin very fast, and the moves involving pikmin are both versatile, and very powerful both in functionality, and literally Little mac meanwhile has arguably the most important part of a smash ultimate fighter missing permamently, with admittedly amazing stats on a part of the character that isnt nearly as important as a character’s aerial game Essentially mac has more moves that dont require pikmin than olimar, but he also cant get any pikmin to use aerials with, ever
