No but for real, as a Metallica fan myself, this is so spot on.

So a couple things. The “it’s the notes in between that are fucking with me” is a direct quote from the St. Anger documentary when Kirk was trying to learn a riff. Lars was on about Napster, a reference to when he tried to sue them. And “you boot capped when you should have boot cap booty capped” is a reference to a video where James tells Lars “I want you to go kep-a-da-loom, not kep-a-da-loom-ca-ca!” Oh and Cry Baby is a brand of wah pedal.

About the Metallica and Megadeath thing, Dave Mustaine who is the lead singer of Megadeth was an original members of Metallica but they kicked him out due to his drinking problem.

The running joke with Lars is that Metallic were a driving force for shutting down file sharing sites like Napster, due to copyright infringements. That is a fun video 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

I have YET to see a Stevie T video I haven't laughed myself silly on! Hilarious EVERY time! He's just too much. The guy's got more talents than a whole REAL band and a damned good guitarist to boot and the thing is - he doesn't even have to try. Every song starts out as a joke but ends up being damn good! Even the "country" song was 'listenable'. A "bargain bin Hulk Hogan" was absolutely priceless!!

In case someone hasn't mentioned it already, if you haven't seen the documentary "Some kind of monsters" from Metallica, there are alot of dots you haven't matched especially about Kirk and James/Lars drama. Worth watching... and then rewatch Steve's video.

Dave Mustaine was the original lead guitarist for Metallica but got kicked out because his drug use and drinking was too much (for even them). He went on to found Megadeth and over the years there's been a bit of rivalry between bands and fans.

Actually, some Metallica songs feature some upstrokes (for example "Mama Said"). James Hetfield is starting using upstrokes recently on stage (for example, in "Nothing Else Matters" & "The Unforgiven")

i think you missed most of this video's point....the beef of megadeth and metallica is that dave mustaine was their guitarist and he was fired from the band at the beginning for his aggressive behavior and metallica used his songs and some other stuff... there is a video of kirk hammet trying the play a simple riff and he couldn't do it... that's why he is in this video doing that... james down pick like a maniac!!! thats very hard to do, thats why he says that in the video.. it is not for the lack of notes.. lol...lars is very greedy and is always complaining about people streaming their songs... it started back in the day when limewire was out there and other streaming sites... thats why he talks about spotify... because is the new trend... he even took these companies to trial if iam not mistaken... the person who calls james is dave csaying metallica is nothing without him.. lol... with lars... people complain that he is not a good drummer... so he makes fun of that here.. lol.. and cry baby is a wah brand.. lol.

Lol, this is definitely one of his funniest! I love the Hetfield singing, sounds just like him! I like a lot of Metallica's music but what puts me off them is James Hetfield's singing. He just sounds like he's vomiting a lot of the time, lol! Horrible singing style/tone. Btw, do you know much by the band Garbage? They're one of my all-time favourite bands, since 1996 and they're still making great music today. If you don't know much and would be curious to check them out I can definitely recommend: Push It, Vow, Bleed Like Me, Blood For Poppies, I Think I'm Paranoid, Empty, You Look So Fine, The Men Who Rule The World, The Creeps, No Gods No Masters and Cup Of Coffee, but there are so many other great songs by them. I'd so love for you to do some reactions to their songs/videos. :)
