Thanks for all the helpful tips and tutorials you've done! I set up my etsy and printify shop finally! Although, I'm kind of still hesitant to start, mainly because I have no idea what to do on the tax side of things. There's still so much to legally look into regarding keeping track of income and setting aside money for taxes. Like how does all that even work... Do we have to keep track of all the sales and fees, or does Etsy do that for us? What do we do if people want a return, exchange, refund, etc. on physical products but you're using printify? Is it automatically taken care of or do we have to manage that? I would love to see videos on how to handle things like this instead of just AI income videos, which are still helpful. I want to learn how to grow and maintain a successful business, not just start and be lost on what to do next... Thanks for some awesome videos though! These at least got me started on ideas and the setup stages.

I was looking at your course for sale. One thing holds me back. Technology is changing so rapidly, some things which were useful 12 months ago, are rubbish now. Do you update/edit your course continuously to keep up with the jumps in tech that occur? It's depressing to spend hard earned money, only to find it is outdated. Excellent vids, by the way.

Alek, I've been thinking about starting an Etsy shop based on your advice. However, I have seen others being talking about the concerns with Etsy, such as now charging to start a store, suspending new stores with no warning or explanation, and then new announcements over delaying payments (with and unspecified amount of time) to new stores. This concerns me. While it is extremely unlikely, if my new shop which will be a POD is extremely successful early on, and they implement say a 60 or 90 day payment delay, a new shop could be on the hook for some serious upfront cash. Any thoughts on this and some of the changes coming to Etsy?

Try reaching out to support on X/Twitter, email, and so on. They want sellers and don't want to ban people for fun. If you got banned, the automation system thought something was wrong. If you didn't do anything wrong, you'll get your account back no problem. 🤝

@@alekSheffy thank you ! The payment scheme. I heard in a video on the topic by another creator that Etsy will hold payment to shop owners if earnings are too small. As I understand it , Printify takes payment from Etsy to fullfil the print on demand. My concern is that the Etsy shop holder will be left holding the bag If money does not go through to cover the Printify fulllfilment costs …

How does the inventory work if you have 2k listings, and you have to renew for .60 for 3 in stock - that REALLY adds up and takes away from your profit.

Is there any problem selling multiple different products in one Etsy shop (e.g. mugs, t-shirts, framed photos)? As long as you’re mastering one product at a time. Or is there some reason you would set up separate shops for each product?

The only issue is it messes with the shipping discounts you'll get. If someone orders your mug and your t-shirt, depending on your settings you might end up paying a little more for shipping. Mainly, I don't think it helps to have them all together. I like keeping them separate.

Good video, but the only issue I see here is that, with the exception of the POD option, you have to know what you are doing.

even POD, you should know what you are doing and what will work. It's easy only if you know what does well consistently and there isn't much out there and it's flooded. The rest, he said, you should go for what you are good at it. And that you do something that will be valuable to others. And that's also so competitive and flooded

Because I've only done well with affiliate marketing after having a following, which not everyone wants to do. Remote closing just offers a style of work that nothing else really does.

I got kicked off of Etsy and they won't let me back on (I've tried). But your instruction is still very helpful! Please throw a bone to people in my position, and tell us what you might do to develop a Shopify store, or other storefronts, how you might do SEO, run ads, or whatever. I'm setting up a Shopify store and creating a lot of original mugs, but also following what's trending, as you advise. Thanks in advance!

@@hergomasina They didn't give any reason. I thought it might have been because I used two different cards for receiving and giving payment; there might have also been a problem with the address. I made allowance for these possibilities in my appeal, but so far no response.
