Hi Alek, I’m in Aurora, CO 👋🏼. I want to know where to get these BEAUTIFUL high quality mockups. These are not generic apparel mockups from placeit. Can you teach us where to get these from? Because I swear it makes a heck of a difference! I can make the coolest shirt, but how I portray it and sell it to my customers is everything. Opening an Etsy store (round 2) this is going to be it, it has to be.

I would be really interested to know the 'success rate' - of those shops opened within a year, how many aren't taking home 5 figures a year compared to the few shown here that are.

Probably relatively low, anyone can generate this AI style art and sell it and they are all trying. What sets some apart will be their branding and most people don't put effort into that.

Good video but you don't discuss how most of these shops spend a lot of $ on ads and this is a big reason many of these shops are successful. This is another reason why they are doing so well so quickly. When you deduct their ad spend and Etsy fees they really aren't making nearly as much as it seems. Do any of these research websites disclose the shops ad spend?

Βefore you spoke publicly didn't you bother to research what was really going on? This Etsy seller didn't get Ali express images. The opposite happened!!!! They copy the jewelry in China and usually the result is rough. Moreover, because these sites sell wholesale, they don't send you just 1 necklace, they have a minimum purchase quantity that can start from 10 pcs.

This is making sense. Even if etsy would let you, there’s no way to drop ship from Aliexpress in 3-6 days, even with the alleged US sellers on the site.

Alek thank you so much for this video. Just curious for dog necklace shop, won’t the customers know it’s from Aliexpress since the packaging will have the Aliexpress supplier’s details (alot of writing in chinese which is what i usually find on my aliexpress packages)?

You make it seem so easy, but we can't really sell the same exact products as other shops on etsy and hope to do as well. How can we avoid overlap and position our products to consistently sell ? Can we be successful on etsy with less than 12 products ? Or do we need to start with more ? How much setup time is needed before "going live" for a beginner ? Do i need to form a legal business before signing up with etsy and suppliers ?

I love your jewelry shop suggestion, the only thing i can't figure out is how to safely dropship... I don't think etsy is ok with people reposting stuff from other websites, also if you were to relist things from another site, how can you modify the pics, is it even ok to do?

I’m still not understanding how all of these aren’t being flagged. These products violate Etsy’s terms. You can’t drop ship non- handmade items.

And I had the same thought, yet the seller is listed as a star seller. Some of the reviews mention the necklace arriving in a gift box and I’m pretty sure Aliexpress does not do that, they send stuff in little plastic bags, so - I’m thinking the seller must order the item and then re-ship it? But wouldn’t that take a while? Also not one review mentioned anything coming from China. (Whoever they are they may not be happy about being called out as a dropshipper...)

When I go to the park I have noticed wayyyy more dog poop laying about. Dog ownership is on the rise as couples realize they cant afford kids. And they put more time and passion into their care than other dog owners since the dog acts as a surrogate child. Very interesting business avenue...

I sell on Etsy and every time someone orders the order payments keeps being processed forever and after a few days the order gets canceled. Has anyone else had the same issue before and knows how to resolve the issue? I print designs using Printify and on Printify I also don't see the orders coming through, so they can be printed and shipped.

The two stores with apparel that you showed that was making really good numbers in their first year, have trademarks. First one had ton of Christmas Grinch shirts and I saw Disney (Mickey) in one review. The other store had Disney on the first page. Making these kind of big numbers I guess is achieveable if you sell trademarked items. Not good examples to show 🤦🏼♀️

I can add that when using Erank and looking at top sellers for clothing started in 2023, 18 of the top 20 stores have trademarks. Disney is mostly in all of those stores.

U have to pay 20 cents for each listing

Your first 40 listings are free. After that 20 cents a listing. And they take a % cut on each sale.

Bruh they don’t work you will get your shop banned cause aliexpress never deliver on time. You will get tons of 1 star reviews on your shop. Then etsy bans that shop.

It's funny to think they are buying from ali express for 5-6$ a peace and selling it for 20$ on etsy. They are buying thousands for under 1$ a piace (can be under 0.4$) from alibaba or talking directly to the producer somehow

Lol..ali copied their necklace, not the other way around. If they do make it, the cost would be about 2usd. For you its hard to replicate, the necklace on Ali is about 10usd, they are selling for 20, after etsy fees you will have 5-6 usd, if you face off adds, that will cut another 3usd from the total price, ending up with a grand total of 2-3usd. Is it really worth it? Also, to use that specific design would be a violation. Please, do a better research.
