Thanks so much for sharing what your knowledge about scanners. It’s helped me tremendously. I can think it would’ve been nice to get retail price on each scanner. Nevertheless, great job! Thanks again!

I agree about connection info. I read Epson issues about this & would like to know more - I subscribed because I liked his energy at the end toward photography - i have a good eye but seeking knowledge of equipment - photo program usage & composition. I am in my 60's & need info on new technology - i have old photos i need to fix & archive & new photos i want to play with color & special effects

Epson fast photo, that thing does not do well with small photos, those school head shots everyone has. It jams the scanner up every time. That's why I'm here looking for a flat bed scanner. Also the epson fast photo will damage the clear coat on photos as it passes through. It will leave two perfectly straight scratches. They aren't noticeable unless you are angling the photo around a light source looking for it.

Does anybody know the absolute BEST scanner, if money is no option? I don’t need speed at all, I just need to be able to scan a small number of things with the upmost accuracy regarding detail and colour accuracy. Help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Does the high price of the V850 pro justify the extra value gained or is it negligible compared to the V600?

Hi, I think the features are negligible. So, no I wouldn’t say the prices is justified. You get plenty of core functionality form the V600, the V850 is more tailored to professional photographers who print very regularly, say they have a studio and they deliver products to clients. For normal at home photographers, the V600 is plenty.

Epson Perfection V39 and the Canon CanoScan LiDE 400 look like the same printer. Guessing some China company makes them both .

Are there photo scanners that I could use with my phone? I don't wanna buy a laptop or pc 😕

Hi I haven't looked into this functionality in detail. But a lot of these scanners have bluetooth connections. So I would have to assume the answer is yes, if the scanner has an app for iOS or Android OS. I can't see why this kind of option wouldn't be possible.

Is this a usb wired device ? I hate wireless because it is not reliable ....... Your video should show connecting procedures ..... lot of people don't like wireless devices.....

Don’t worry, the V600 is a wired connection.
