The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis are a strange natural phenomenon that can only be witnessed in the most northern regions of the globe. We had the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to Yellowknife Canada and watch the best aurora of the entire year so far. It was truly a magical moments that no words will ever be able to describe. This is a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Daniel Sheppard Its real alright. I was in Canada about 15 years ago and saw them around 2 am. Ill never forget it. Explosions of Emerald Ribboned light across the sky for about an hour. One of the coolest things ive ever seen

We were up there all summer, got to experience the Aurora Magic many, many nights. So beautiful, such an AWE INSPIRING moment, which can happen so fast and like you said from any where in the sky above. Working on my time-lapse photography of the way too many photographs.

How amazing is it to be Canadian and have this vast amount of north to explore!? We are so incredibly lucky! Seeing the northern lights is #1 on my bucket list. I saw a really cool show at the montreal biodome all about the northern lights and how they are created, and ever since I've been obsessed.

Amazing, I was lucky enough to film the solar eclipse recently but that looks like another "must see" one to do for sure. I saw them in Finland once but very very faint. Excellent coverage Christian. :-)

Awesome, you are in my hometown and birthplace. So happy seeing Yellowknife in your vlogs. Amazing isn't it, experiencing the northern lights and seeing them dance feverishly above you head. You the man, hope it inspires the vlog squad to maybe go up there someday. Wish you had some footage of the gold mines there(my father worked at Giant and Con mines as a driller). Enjoy the memories you had there, awesome!

I drove from calgary about 4 years ago we were driving in the pitch dark, we stopped to use the washroom and the whole sky lite up in the northern lights first time ever seeing them and didn't even know it was about to happen lol they're insane !

Had the same experience in fairbanks alaska. Lazer looking spirals over my head moving so fast. By far the most amazing sight of nature.
