I checked out the Verso Retinol Serum for Eyes after hearing you talk about Verso years ago and it's INCREDIBLE. Fantastic for sensitive eyes that have had hideous, scary reactions to treatment products in the past. The Medik8 Crystal Retinal range is also astonishing. My mature problematic skin is the best it's been for many, many years. I'm thrilled with these products and would like to second your recommendationa to anybody currently shopping. :)

I've been using retinaldehyde more or less consistently for twenty years now, and don't feel the need to go any stronger. I'm 50, so of course I have fine lines but they don't bother me at all. They would be much deeper if I hadn't used it. I'm at 0.1% now, which was a bit challenging at first, but frankly a lot less irritating than, say, an 0.3% retinol product. I am *more* than happy I found out about retinaldehyde at the time where nobody talked about it. Get back to me when I'm 60. Maybe I'll feel less confident about mu skin, but as I said, it's all I want and need for now.

Can you share what brand retinaldehyde you use? It's very hard for me to find for some reason and I need something stronger than the 1% retinol I've been using.

I used the ordinary’s granactive retinoid for a few years, but switched to your retinol cream about 8 months ago. Love it. No irritation and it’s surprisingly moisturizing.

First time I tried retinol i barely knew anything other than it helped with fine lines and acne so I went with Drunk Elephant's retinol which is 1% - something that did't mean anything to me at that time. I have sensitive skin to begin with and the product made my skin extremely dry with just 1 use every 10 days, my skin broke out and was constantly irritated, patchy and redish so i stopped using it quite soon after. I thought retinol was just not for me. Now a few years later and a lot of videos and research i'm back at it with Medik8 №3 - i use it two times a week at night and my skin feels simply wonderful. Knowledge is everything :) Thank you, Susuan, for helping us learn and choose better.

Is it ok to hand retinol in a moisturizer? I use the Late Somerville moisturizer and it has retinol in it. Is the strength of the retinol lessened when in the same container as your moisturizer

What about retinyl palmitate? I live in a small country and the only retinol available is the Revox Retinol serum that has retinyl palmitate. I am not sure if I'm supposed to purchase it cause it has mixed reviews.

_Retincare_ serum from the brand *ENDOCARE* is the only one wich contains actual tretinoine without prescrition. It comes combined with glycolic, urea and some other ingredients to balance the possible irritation. For me, one of the most underrated brands ever. Their sunscrens, _Heliocare_ are next level too. 🧛🏻‍♀️🖤

I'm currently using Paula’s Choice 1% retinol and man, it's strong! My skin has gone through dryness, major peeling and redness with this product.

That’s what I’m using too for about 2 weeks now. Stick with it because it really works! My skin is so dewy looking, I hardly need any foundation anymore.

I've been using PC 1% for a long time now. I use it 5 or 6 times a week. The other 1 or 2 days I use a BHA. Its definitely transformed my skin.

That’s pretty much the strongest concentration for tretinoin. Tret usually comes in three strengths: 0.025%, 0.05%, and 0.1%

Sorry But I’ve tried all the retinols mention here and I must say nothing beats the Drunk Elephant one that made me look so much younger and better I am 38 and everyone thinks I am 21 and I am not joking.
