Someone came up with the glorious idea of putting a legendary commander onto Incomparable, and doing an HE only run with IFHE+. Well, the bad news is, that's not fun, because her HE shells aren't that great. The good news is, once I realised that she's actually misclassified as a destroyer, things turned out to be fun regardless.
Well, having a glass of red might have had something to do with it as well.

Certainly a niche DD design. 6 guns, 4 torpes per side, very big, nice AA Kinda like a refit tribal tbh

Zao torps only sounds fun. I'm definitely making those once in a while, but I'm the only one in the household who drinks, so I don't always have booze around.

I have a whole playlist of "Alcohol made me do this..." >_> I've actually got too many premiums on my personal account, some I just picked up on sale at some point and haven't played much, or at all. Yeah, yeah, whale, I know :P But this one I would love to have. Although the HE-only build can be a bit depressing when you're shooting at cruisers - I did score a lonely HE citadel against a Soyuz once.

Omg. This was hilarious. 2 things made me chuckle. #1. Talking about the size of the DD. The British dude that decided that DD needed to be that big is related to the guy who thought the Alaska's would be a good cruiser being half of the size of the moon. #2. I always love seeing a Botimore on the opposite side. They are awesome to get secondary hits for missions.

Alaska used to be visible from low earth orbit. I've once described her as the largest man-made object. They did buff her concealment, though. But yes, of course, it's a very large destroyer. Although in the UK, we'd call it a "battle destroyer", the Americans are the ones pretending their stuff isn't "battle" something, just "very large".

Hello Terry Merry christmas I've recently reached conqueror and I have Nelson the commander with IFHE plus skill Can you please test the ship with and without ifhe plus and compare damage and more importantly the number of fires you get? I know it's a lot to ask but I am around level 10 and really have to decide APCS ve IFHE plus. Thanks

Doctors. What do they know? Wine and warships just go together. Still trying to.figure out how a destroyer had enough deck space for a scout plane and the necessary equipment for launch and recovery.

We'll call it a "battle destroyer". It'll be powerful enough to fight ships it can't outrun, and fast enough to get away from ships that can hurt it. Then, of course, the bloody colonies come around, copy the concept years later and call it a "large destroyer" for some reason...

Lol, a very big destroyer. Somehow it match on today new destroyer Terry, from the USN DDGX, JMSDF twin 20k ton new DDG (Coming Soon), and maybe also new Royal Navy new DDG later. Back at old day, with that tonnage, its slready classified as heavy cruiser or nearly battlecruiser. But today, its different story 🤣 Anyway, happy new year Terry

Yeah I know. It's not that we don't have good wine here, quite the contrary, but this is a Malbec, a rather sweet one - not quite a Chianti, but it's what my family prefers when I make a Chili con Carne, and I haven't seen a local variant of this.

The HE-only variant isn't very got at battleshipping. The AP, on the other hand, very much so... I do have a video about this thing with APCS, and it's hilarious. She two-shots Iowas.

I'm ... not the best person to play carriers, to be honest. I'm just not very good at it - but maybe it's time to take up that particular challenge again.
