The government warns people to not drive, when its only 55cm snow and -20c? In Finland? Thats rather mellow, and im Swedish. Im pretty sure the Finns would call that summer!

To be fair, the year is probably like 2120 as it references serious global warming and it has only been a few years since humanity got things to start cooling off. There is an actual moon base, so it must be way down the line. 55cm of snow and -20°C might be a record for the past 80 years, and the "normal" might've been more like 30-35 cm and -15°C.

Imagine: you're the only human in an entire habitat, visiting as a diplomat. Suddenly you sneeze. Klaxons start to sound, panic en masse. you're dragged to a quarantine zone level omega and anally probed (as is the custom) by aliens in bulky hazmat suits. You just had an allergic reaction to pollen.

Good twist and probably more accurate in terms that in such a vibrant world the most dangerous threat would probably be the bacteria and viruses. Humans are not more powerful or used to a heavier gravity but simply more resistant to their native killers. :)

it would be interesting if this was true when we finally get out in space. it's also why nasa sterilizes all probes just in case thanks for the narration and story
