I have this set up pretty much, and a pitch stop and rear diff inserts. Amazing shifting, like butter

This is an absolute MUST DO upgrade - I have a similar setup along with the rear diff bushings and there is ZERO slop in the way the car shifts, no "rocking" feeling in the trans

I put a vsc pitch stop, perrin bushing billetworkz shift stop and sti short shifter on last week. Took the pitch stop off after 1 day. Cabin noise was horrible 😢

@@duecefoesubieOur cars are homologated to FIA Group N regulations, which is a category limited to relatively stock mass-produced road cars, but it does allow a few basic modifications. Subaru's "Group N" parts are STI-made parts designed to improve durability and performance over the stock parts, without compromising your car's Group N homologation, which lets you compete in a lot of regional and national-level rallies within that category. So, STI Group N parts aren't necessarily the best options if you're looking for the biggest possible performance upgrades, but they're well-engineered, well-made, and as far as I know, they're the only option if you want to enter any Group N rallies.

The perrin shift stop is way better I bought both and tested.

@@BuckleUpGarage_ The perrin super shift stop reduces the vertical travel in addition to the horizontal. Perrin also provides hardware to tighten up the entire shifter assembly and the resulting shifts are far superior not to mention its made of aluminum instead of fiberglass so does not deform like the COBB did for me. All while remaining the same price.

i got the billetworkz shift stop. The vertical stoppers scared me cuz I wont to be sure it's all the way in gear. How has your set up been treating you? @@ziggyziggler

Would lets say an OEM STi short throw shifter be beneficial with this set up given that you shortened the shift already with the shift plate? Thanks

I own a 22 WRX with the oem STI short throw from the factory, and it still feels sloppy. It looks like he also has the oem STI short throw based on the shift knob that is installed.

If you experience transmission failure… I would expect resistance from your dealership to replace it under warranty. With that being said, if your window regulator goes bad, they will replace it. So installation of parts like this doesn’t necessarily “Void” your warranty.
