Right off the bat... "the SKS is powerful and accurate"

When I bought mine, I told a buddy about it as well because it was a good deal at the time. He really wanted it to be an AK. I begged him not to mess with it. He put every single Tapco product he could find on it. He even tried to put a scope on the rear cover, lol, He tried to zero that f'ing thing for about an hour before he gave up.

Perfect mag is mag it comes with. Don’t bubba these guns unless your Canadian.

1) Lots of people have complained about the large capacity poly mags, but then again, a lot of people have had no functioning problems with them at all. You only know what's right for you if you plunk down money to buy them and enough ammo to experiement with them. I suggest buying one at a time. 2) Boasting about how fast you are with stripper clips is like some old coot boasting about how fast he is reloading his revolver, claiming semi auto is a fad. 3) I load my 35 round mags to 30. No matter how fast you can reload your 10 round stripper clips, that's a 3-1 advantage. Also, with 30, maybe I don't HAVE to reload. 4) The chief advantage of the original internal mag isn't how fast you can load it, it's the FACT that you can hug the ground and fire prone. Try THAT with my 35 round mag, good luck! 5) Another advantage of the stripper clips is size and weight. The duck billed mags are monstrously big. Conclusion: This is a lot like the argument between revolvers and semis. I'm old enough to have lived through the age of both. When the semis became reliable enough, most shooters recognized the advantages of semis over revolvers in self defense. Here, I think it comes down to reliability. It's not an issue of how fast you can reload with stripper clips, the central point of the argument is how reliable the duck billed mags are and how fast you can clear a malfunction in your magazine, and how likely that scenario is to arrise. If you are humping it all over the outback, you want the stripper clips. Aside from that, if the duck billed mag is reliable, your choice is clear, if it is not, you want the internal mag with the stripper clips.

If only Tapco magazines were still being produced. Tapco doesn't exist anymore.

Your not mentioning you can't keep the polymer mags loaded or the feed leeps warp over time and won't hold rounds in

Other than living in Canada, why would you take the 10-round factory magazine out of the SKS and put in the five-round polymer magazine at the end of the video? Why would you take five rounds away from yourself like that. And certain SKS is including the one I own actually holds 11 rounds so why would I take six rounds away from myself and put in a five-round polymer magazine. If I'm buying a custom magazine for my rifle it's going to be a magazine that has more capacity than the factory magazine on the rifle. And when I installed the ProMag 40-round magazine a lot SKS it failed to load the very first round several times
