I'm 17, first played this back in 2017 or 2018 (cant remember exactly when) I was 12. Your not late by any means. It has no set expiration date. Its a game that stuck with me the most out of the 5 that did, it remains one that I remember the most. I can only say positive things about it anything negative is hard to word that's how you know it was one to remember, (Incase you were curious what other games stuck with me they are, Detroit Become Human, The Walking Dead: The Telltale series, Far Cry 5 and finally Fallout 4). Iv also played Life is Strange 2, BTS. Haven't played True Colors due to other games taking up the roster so that's the only one I haven't played and hey we'll call it even, I'm late to playing True colors and your late to playing Life is Strange 1 so that's how you know you'll never forget it.

I'm 36, husband und father of three. I played LiS this year - 2024. And I believe, that you didn't come to it too late. Just like a good movie (American Beauty) or a book (Dune) or a play (Tempest *wink wink*) It won't age. I can see children in schools fifty years from now learning about this instant classic
