I wish i could play life is strange again but all over without any memory of it

life is strange affected me in a way that it will always be part of my life

its 12:23am, I just finished pretty much all of my art projects in one night and now I'm in my warm comfy bed listening to this beautiful soundtrack and texting someone i care about. I have school in 6 hours but I just want to stay up and enjoy the night, and not worry about tomorrow because life has been going so fast lately. i am calm and content right now, and this game and soundtrack means a lot to me. anyway sorry for the rant, I hope anyone who reads this has a good day/night

The background music of Life is Strange always leaves pit in my stomach. A good pit. I love it. It works its way into my throat and sits there. No other music has ever done that to me before. I live it. I can't get enough of it.

oh man I was trying to hear some music to help me to write, and then I found this video I love LiS, and... seriously I can't hear ANY song of that fucking game because I remember of every moment of this and just made me cry every fucking time gosh, this game is so amazing

yknow for some reason scrolling through this comment section is a surreal feeling when paired with the music, i feel these connections with strangers in the past, all commenting their feelings when listening to this soundtrack, and knowing what they feel is what i’m feeling, this warm and nauseous feeling of nostalgia and bliss, this might not ever be seen but i just had the need to share this, so if you see this in 3 months or 3 years just know that a stranger 1000 miles away from the past knows what you’re feeling

Life is Strange, despite being a game with many, many flaws, will always be important to me. Seeing past some of the awkward dialogue or odd plot points and you'll find a story, atmosphere, and feeling simply unlike anything I've seen yet. Arcadia Bay is still one of my favorite video game settings, primarily because of the slow, calming mood it envokes despite all that happens in its borders. Part of that is because of how this amazing soundtrack was used to paint a landscape that became a character just as much as Max and Chloe did

Idk why but I feel like this game represents so much the real life. The pain. The power of a choice. Love. Friendship. Childhood. It hurts everytime that I listen to this compilation but it's good, u know? I love how this game made me find something good in the middle of the storm...

Today was a bad day. Nothing went according to plan and I could scream, cry and yell, but instead I sit hear and think of my blue butterfly and the beauty of life.

I have a friend who reminds me of chloe. Sometimes I just want to live in Arcadia bay, and hang with that friend. We would probably hang at that junkyard and talk about the flaws of our world, and walk along the train tracks and talk about how we wish moments like this would never end. Listening to this music again makes me wanna go there. Have adventures like they did.

when he was born, i took care of my son because i didn't have a job. this soundtrack accompanied me for the first few months, it reminds me of the lightness and intensity of those moments.

2 years after playing this game i'm still here listening to their musics... it feels so good

Listening to this music reminds me of a better time in my life, back when a lot of people cared for me and my family was still together, we didn't struggle for money and I would be carefree playing Life is Strange in my room along my best friend, everything was just perfect. Nowadays I feel lost, alone and completly useless in anything I do regardless of having dinner with the family that I have left, doing a good job in the university or going out with some friends, I don't know what's wrong with me. Life sometimes kicks you harder than usual and getting up seems impossible.

I remember the first time I ever played this game, i fell in love. The music, the art style and then Max and Chloe. Around the same time I was in a very unstable and uncertain time of my life, it's hard to explain but whenever I hear the soundtrack especially the main menu music. It just leaves a almost bittersweet feeling in my heart, like longing to go back but happy I made it past. This game will forever hold a special place in my heart.

My grandma died. She was my everything, I grew up with her and my grandpa and home was for me wherever they were. I visited her in the hospital every day, the last words I told her were "I love you" and I am thankful I got to hear her say she loved me, too. With each passing day my pain keeps getting bigger and heavier. I come back to this music and everytime I listen to it I feel as if I am still with her, holding her hand. LIS really was something different. Listening to the music makes me feel the exact same feelings when I was rlly into it years ago. It’s like taking a trip to the past and gosh it’s beautiful but heart wrenching at the same time.

The fact that the first note of the menu song can play and instantly I am transported back in time to playing the game for the first time and all the emotions it brought to me. Even with the knowledge I have of it now, years after I've played it in full, I am still reminded of its essence and energy whenever the music plays. This game touches the heart and soul of the player without slashing and hacking enemies, making your own life choices which all have consequences - a stunning masterpiece. The music by Syd Matters is like fine wine - very rare indeed.

Just hearing the menu music instantly makes me depressed. It's such a beautiful song but the story it says through the music of Max, Chloe and the people of Arcadia Bay really hits me hard just like the last of us's music does. Life is strange 2 has not captured the beauty of this game and the emotional rollercoaster it sends you through the music and narrative. I wish i could experience this game like it was my first time..

Probably similar to many people here, but I first played this game a few years ago during a very stressful time of my life, when I was slightly depressed and had a flipped sleep schedule and so on, but the moments in this game and especially the music helped me a lot to overcome the sadness that I was experiencing and find a bit more meaning in my everyday life. Hopefully some day we can all find the same kind of happiness that Max and Chloe found in each other :)

I go back here so I can remember how this game made me feel, the summer I started playing it, I was lost in this world, I was lost in Arcadia Bay. Late at night I cried and I laughed because of all the emotions Life is Strange made me go through, this was something completely new for me and I adored every little minute of it. I had never tried any game like this before, so it really showed me a new place where I could let my dreams come alive. This game is so underrated

when I listened to this, the first time I opened the game, I was hoping for an indie game that would not hit me in the gut and that would not influence my life whatsoever, I have heard that it was good, but I never heard a single thing about the story or the characters and god when I started playing the game, I felt so familiar with the characters, evene when I never heard of them, and I think that's the magic of the game, Max's friends are our friends, we all have that kind of friends in our colleges or high schools, but the character I really loved, was Chloe, man I am 20 and I feel a lot like Chloe, I even do most of the things she does, even before playin the game, and the ending, it was so... touching, it is true, you can never play the game for the first time again, the plot twist, I think the plot twist about the sicko, was one of the most unexpected twists, and it is truly amazing because there were hints and it was THERE all along, you just "never payed attention", because that's how life is, you stop paying attention due to being concentrated in your life and you fail to see the reality of your world, Life is cruel, Life is careless, Life is strange

Back in 2020, I was having a rough time keeping up with my studies and my mental health was at its worst and nothing helped soothe my nerves better than this video. Music is my medium for distraction, so whenever I would have intrusive thoughts, I’d play this and everything would feel alright. I’m grateful for the uploader as well as the players of the music. I picked up this game in 2017, I think. I’d hadn’t really heard anything about it but I thought it looked interesting. I played the first episode and was hooked. I had to play through the whole game. This game was so amazing. It shook me to my core. I remember staying up late into the night not being able to tear myself away, sitting there, sometimes in tears, at the emotional gravity of this game, awestruck. This game is definitely on my list of top 5 games I’ve ever played, truly beautiful.

These songs remind me of 2 things first what a blast all the LIS games are and 2nd how much I miss being a teenager in school and how I waisted it. You don't realize how important your school years are as specially high school until there gone.
