Hello guys, so after Hot Pursuit Remaster announcement trailer I decided to make something about original Hot Pursuit 2010. Whats the better way then showcasing something where Criterion never failed, sounds... I have to admit, even tho I never was fan of HP 2010, I'm excited about this one. Hope you like this.

Just a side note: The Zonda sound on the PS3 version is better than the zonda sound on PC. I'm really glad that Criterion chooses the console version for Zonda in the HP Remastered.

Yeah I can true that. On the PS3, the Pagani Zonda sounds like it was in hell, shouting with rage, and having a sexy ass sound. Edit: just to add to that, NFS actually worked with Pagani themselves, that's why it sounds so accurate in the PS3 version

still amazes me how BlackBox and Criterion nailed the sound of the rotary, while Ghost can't even rev to 9000 rpm

You know that the American version of the RX-7 had a 7000 RPM redline but if you zoom in in the interior it doesn't look like and it is the traditional RX-7 with 8000 RPM. Also it is funny that the RX-8 sound is so similar to the NFS Pro Street's maz_rx7_c.

@@7ndrew You are right Lambo sounds are not accurate, I prefer 100 times Gallardo sound of Most Wanted 2012 is incredible. But backfire sounds in Heat are just perfect. Also Tunnel echo sound effect in MW2012 and Hot Pursuit (Criterion) are so much better and louder

@@samix9000 I understand that but a good 4k TV has an output of 60 fps and it makes games in general look much smoother. That's part of the reason a good monitor goes a long way.

@@digitalcamaro9708 If the game is natively rendered at 30 FPS, there's no way to see 60 FPS even on a 1000$ TV/monitor. You're probably talking about interpolation (Samsung Motion Plus, for example). Go check it out.

@@samix9000 I guess I was using the wrong terms. I know it's easier on my eyes than the last screen I had lmao. After some research it's interesting how interpolation impacts certain things. For my games or anime it looks really smooth, but for movies it's jarring.

Mahim Marufuzzaman if you listen to the Patrol car version of the Carrera GT, it’ll have the same sound from the Lexus LFA; for some reason the undercover version of the Carrera has the wrong sound so it’s a bug

My personal favorite car sounds from this game are the Mclaren F1,Pagani Zonda Cinque,Aston Martin One - 77,Dodge Viper ACR,Ford GT,Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera,Mazda RX-8,and Lamborghini Reventon.Can't wait to get this game even though I have one already but I'll still get it.

Usually I like my racing game to be accompanied by a great soundtrack, but with this game, I play it with the music off. There’s just something about the way the cars howl, the pops and cracks from the exhausts and the reverb when driving through a tunnel. The sound design of this game is phenomenal. Not to say that it has a shitty soundtrack, no, I enjoy most of the music that is on here, but for me personally, for this game, the cars are the soundtrack.

Great video buddy loved this game one of my top 5 nfs games can't wait to race online especially in exotics class with the Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR,Pagani Zonda Cinque,Lamborghini Murcielago LP-670-4 SV,Porsche Carrera GT and Ford GT plus with the dlc competition will be diverse as Mercedes Slr Mclaren Stirling Moss and SLR Mclaren 722 Edition are gone those cars were really good in online

Though the Zonda Cinque's engine is not accurate, I still love it, it sounds so menacing and full of power. If another car had those sound files would've been better

The only problem that is kept from the original to Remastered sound wise is that all Beamers sounds like a I6, Vipers sounds like a V8 and the 918 Spyder Concept Study does NOT have a V12, it has a V8

the ACR's V10 sounds like a V8 But the Pagani Zonda , the chevrolet corvette ZR1, the Porshe Carrera GT, the Ford GT, Lamborgini gallardo superleegera-murcielago SV and Reventon engines are glorius! (ZR1 & GT superchargers are soooo satisfating, loud & powerfull)

Not buying the remaster because i've still got my Origin version. With an additional forced MSAA + MFAA the game looks still good. I'm more the Underground type, although i've enjoyed this one except the last race Koenigsegg Vs Veyron that car (Veyron) was insane to beat. (Dat Carrera GT by the way, still giving me Eargasms) @TheBoss Gaming Stop that dude you're giving me the chills each time you're going through the tunnel lol. Nice video as always by the way. :)

imo Nfs Hot Pursuit has the best driving, and damage mechanics out of any nfs game. Like seriously, you can't admit that ramming a racer with a cop car was *incredibly* satisfying. Idk how they did it, but the car ramming, the awesome weapons like spike strip, and the damage was just orgasm worthy

Damage, mechanics? You serious, cracked windows, some scratches and some dents to the hood and bumpers with some deformation. Sure it is better than the recent NFS but the best damage? You have to be joking. NFS Pro Street/Undercover, NFS Shift 2 and even NFS The Run had better damage. No matter how hard you hit your car your tire can't fall off, break the doors or break the side and rear windows. And handling? What is so that good in just tapping and brake and you auto drift through the corners? This is some bs but somehow for this game it fit this style of handling unlike the others with brake to drift. And in my opinion this handling should have stayed in Burnout.

Ok but also look at NFS MW 2012 Yeah the M3 GTR sound Is wrong, but the Skyline R34, Audi R8 GT Spyder and Pagani Huayra sound so sick

The reason why the GTR sounds wrong because it was a reskinned E46 just like NFS 2015/Payback.

It doesn't make any sense since 918 never had a V10 and always it had a NA V8 Hybrid. Same thing for the 918 RSR in World and The Run it sounds like typical straight-piped F6 with transmission whine.

@@TheBossGaming sorry boss I forgot to put car sounds. Yes the sound is different from the remaster. You can even compare both 2010 NFS HP on PC and PS3 and you will notice the difference in sound. It is almost like a filter has been put on to lower the rpm sound
