I always thought that line was a bit arrogant of Carter. She's an attractive lady and all, but jesus. Jack's laying there starving, freezing to death, with a badly broken leg and no treatment, and she thinks them cuddling slightly in bulky army gear is gonna give him a huge mega raging boner? She might be thinking a bit much of herself... or maybe she's just daydreamed about Jack too much and thinks he's hung like a walrus? LIke she thinks his package is so massive that even soft it would be noticeable? Either way... she needs a reality check.

They diminished her intelligence in Atlantis. I thought they would have let her be the one to really knock mckay down a notch. She was the one responsible for majority of the technology the stargate teams had even the bridge. The concept was her idea.

@@matthew8153 Fair enough, but that's very symptomatic of a series from before the advent of streaming services made by people who couldn't even be sure their episodes would be aired in the right order... we're spoiled today with good story-driven series as a result of modern binge culture which did not exist when _Stargate_ was made. For the time and for what it is, I think _Stargate_ did cross-series storylines fairly well...

I think it is her military background. She is more capable of quick thinking and of course she beat rodney in being a part of the program otherwise he would be in their team.

The Ashen’s planet getting eaten by a black hole most likely. 4. The 3 solar systems destroyed by different artificial supernovas ( the old Asgard home system counts, even though they collapsed their star into a black hole a supernova would’ve still occurred ). 5. Abydos destroyed by Anubis’s super-weapon ship. 6. Various Asgard planets blown up by them to stem the tide of the replicators ( not shown though ). 7. All the Asgard’s remaining planets and outposts self destroying when they committed mass suicide. 8. The Asurans’ planet deliberately destroyed. 9. The Jaffa world that turned into a black hole. 10. The Jaffa planet of Dakara blown to shit by Adria. 11. Novus, the planet where the descendants of Destiny’s crew settled on, torn to shreds by a rogue black hole. 12. And finally Rodney Mackay destroying an entire solar system ( all of it counts as the explosion would’ve definitely destabilized the local star causing it to go supernova and finish the job for him ). So..... a lot, like I definitely don’t want to exist in that universe unless I’m on Terra kind of a lot.

@OriginalTharios Actually they had weapons all around the ship. And they were pretty tiny compared to Ori ships and were around same size as Asgard ones. Sure they were big compared to Earth ships but well those ships were one of the smallest in the galaxy anyway. Problem with Ha'taks that they were seriously outdated (the design remained almost the same for thousands of years aaand even when they were "brand new" they were obsolete compared to what other races had.) and only primitive races fell prey to them. Most other races with space ships could easily dispose of them. Not even Anubis managed to do much about it, only make them immune to weaker energy weapons.
