Join me, Koifish, as I attempt to get the achievement Going Places, where I play as Jarl Haestein, the coolest viking on the coastline! I have to form a kingdom, but with the help of this tutorial and achievement challenge run, you'll be able to finish this achievement in no time!
In this CK3 viking challenge, I attempt to form a kingdom within one lifetime!!
Crusader Kings 3 is a wonderful medieval strategy game, made by Paradox. There's vikings, knights, nomads and crusaders!

Took me 13 runs to get this achievement, took my own path, ended up taking venice straight away for the money, then took the duchy of munster in ireland, and formed the kingdom of venice, it was quite easy after a few dozen tries :)

It was funny when koifish was freaking out about haestienn calling his wife pet 🤣 it's a pretty normal thing to call your partner or child in the midlands and Northern England. It's like calling them 'dear'. Also duck in the North and chicken in Ireland for some other odd terms of endearment

Petition for Koifish to do for CK3 what TommyKay did for HOI4 with the 100% series. Also, for future reference, idk if he did it, but you can move the rally point to spawn closer to their border if you want. It makes it a hell of a lot easier. Noticed it at the beginning, spawning at his capital instead of by Léon.

I guess what I'd like to see is that, down the road when they're done releasing DLC and things, Paradox should (needs to) bundle it all up into a discount release with all of said DLC and the like. Instead, they just milk people hard.
