I liked hearing about the kickstand. I just got my OLED and have been surprised how many times I have used the kickstand almost unconsciously. Weird since I never used the kickstand on the old switch. Goes to show what a difference some product improvements can make for the user's experience.

The thing is, you just can't trust tpu crystal products because THEY WILL eventually turn yellow... maybe not right away but sooner than you think. I love Skull & Co but I'm not on board with crystal products

I like how the OLED crystal grip case covers all the edges, but also like how the neogrip is stiff and like a brace (perhaps can help prevent joy con wobble??). Which one like do you like better between the two?

Sadly this case is still too loose on the OLED, at least for me it is. Within minutes of trying it the floating shoulder buttons had ‘slipped’ off the actual shoulder buttons multiple times, causing them basically not to work mid-gameplay - very frustrating. I’ve gone back to the Neo grip which, IMO, is far superior to this. FYI I never had this issue with the Crystal Grip on my Switch Lite, it was great.

I gotta say I love this grip case. It’s nice and sleek looking with the case on and to include 3 different grips is really cool. They feel good and no more cramping! I think these are a better alternative than bitbok or split pad pro even. Which to me add way too much bulk, feel cheap and have too many issues with analog sticks and dead zone. These are the way to go.

I've seen reviews for this grip case, and they've all been negative. Most reviews say it doesn't dock correctly, can you clarify what the problem is please.

Don’t go with the TPU style cases. They tend to get particles trapped behind the TPU and it makes it look rough and scratches your console go with the Neo grip. It might not yellow with it’s lack of bromide in the TPU mold, but it will always get junk between the TPU and the console.

I really love this grip, but i have one problem with the carry case. It smells like it survived the amazonas fire. Is this problem only for mine case? I'm really annoyed, because everytime i get my switch out of the case, it smells burned

I purchased this combo set of grip set and carry case and some screen protectors from skull & co 😂 it is great and yes it’s a shame the kickstand is rendered unusable. They should have built their own kickstand into it but that probably would interfere it sliding into the dock. Still a great product and received mine quite quickly given distance it’s travelled 😂

i never noticed any looseness with the tpu version. i think it's just because you're comapring a worn down product to a brand new one

I have both oled and regular switch, the regular switch has a grip that came with a carrying case made by nintendo and it has been THE BEST grip i have ever used. everything else has minor issues which kills it for me and that slight loose feel did it for me to NOT purchase these i guess ill wait untill nintendo makes something again.

I'll rather wait for the satisfye zengrip pro oled instead because this grip isn't asymmetrical and the grips aren't rubber

Yep the skull grip is hands down the best grip. I have the satisfye grip for my og switch and I have the skull grip for my oled switch. The skull grip is far superior than the satisfye grip in every single way. Even the case is better.

DO NOT BUY AWFUL. WILL NOT DOCK. silicone sticks to the gloss. Excessive force is needed to both dock and unock. My dock is brand new and you can shake it upside down without fear of the switch falling thags how tight it is. Whoever decided to change the mstte dock to gloss as well as whoever decided to chsnfe the case from TPU to yellowing, fingerprint magnet silicone should be fired. Terrible design. And I cant return this. Also if you're the type to constantly switch out grips, its very frustrating to swap them out. Sold my neogrip (which I wasn't happy with either) for this and it took a couple months...better off shelling out the 90$ for the satisfye grip. Least with that you guarantee quality. Skullnco has really oversaturwted its own products and the quality has suffered The gripcase for the V2 is infinitely better.
