People sleep on how accessible National and State Parks are to Las Vegas! It’s actually one of my favorite things about being there! I was actually surprised how relatively close Death Valley is, in terms of driving distance. Keep the great content going!

I love getting off strip for a day! In 2018 I rented a car & drove all the way out to the Amargosa Valley where I had a late breakfast in the Longstreet Inn. In 2019 I rented a car & drove out to Pahrump. I spent 1 night at the Pahrump Nugget & looked around the area. The next day, on my way back to Vegas, I discovered the Pahrump Valley Wineries. I was delighted by my finds, it was like finding Gold in the desert!

I had a chance to kayak Lake Mead and see the Emerald Cove and it was sooooo beautiful! And I rode through the valley of fire. Didn’t find out about the water park until I left. And I saw an adult playground I want to try also. Glad you did this video!

1. I live in Oakland and hubby and I drive to Vegas all the time. 2. We LOVE the Vdara. It's our #1 place to stay. 3. Can't wait to experience Death Valley 4. We're moving there in a few weeks and I can't wait to Vlog our experiences. 5. I use Turo to rent cars too. Oh, and hubby is from Chi town Southside. I really enjoyed this video.

That view above Lake Mead is at called The Hidden Railroad Trail. You must visit there. About a 3-mile trek down to Hoover Dam, through several tunnels right through the mountains. GREAT views of the lake! I ride my bike there.
