The deer antler is in velvet stage while its growing, then turns hard after the scrap of soft part. every year deer drop antlers and regrow them... good video always wanted to check out sri Lanka , we heading back Vietnam next week...

Yes all deer elk and moose have velvet like that. When it's time to shed them they actually are bloody. So there are a few of us explaining the softness of those antlers. Thanks for sharing. Much love. Stay safe and healthy.

I like the beauty of Sri Lankan Deer beautiful spotted ones that aren't hunted and are so sweet and friendly, how nice to see them. It looks like lunch you are eating way too much food. The food is breakfast, lunch and dinner, wow

I had a really cool high school history teacher taught us college-level US history. the stuff they don't teach you in the books. you see how that deer walked up to that person no fear at all the Native Americans lived like kings until the white man showed up and scared the hell out of the dear Etc with their rifles as I understand that the Native Americans were very upset about this. just food for thought.

An excellent video! The deer are very use to people, and exchanging pets for snacks, but very good natured. The soft felt is so soft! The food, the service is all of the best you can want at any beach front local setting in Sri Lanka! An epic trip for The Holistic Trainer, and Sai. Peace!
