GABA is the only nutraceutical that reduced tinnitus in my case. It never will go away completely but stress mitigation and GABA helps.

I have read that GABA does not cross blood-brain barrier, try GABA precursor which is taurine (on an empty stomach).

Thank you for another informative video. I have had 24/7 tinnitus for decades along with a laundry list of other conditions. Supplements do not seem to have very stringent guidelines and regulations.while my tinnitus is somewhat bothersome, it rarely gets unbearable. It will be interesting to see updates on the success of the new Lenire device.

Due to my underlying chronic condition of Alports I’m prescribed a B complex and D vitamins daily. I’ve also added Zinc daily and my tinnitus is greatly reduced. Nothing crazy, just the RDA of 15mg. I also drink green tea 4 times a day.

@@usamasattar1139 try to search for a green tee that is certified to be from China acknowledge regions, without any additives and avoid green tee in bags (these are grinded yield leftovers). Do not brew green tee in boiling water, 80-90 Celsius degrees are recommended. Brew time should be 8-10 minutes or more, just remember to drink in warm (better bioavailability).

I have had constant tinnitus 36 years. Since 15 yrs old. It basically makes my life hell daily. I tried various diets. Fasting etc. Nothing has helped. On top of it I'm completely deaf now. There's no cure for this condition sadly

Apparently it’s most likely in your brain, not your ear. Even scientists don’t really understand what’s going on with it.

There is one. Ginko herb in tablets + bethastine from doctor. It will reduce 50% of evil tinnitus. Trust me, I am rock guitar player

Hey Dr. Cliff, I hope all is well with you! I recently read articles that said a cure for deafness caused by gene mutation has been discovered and it worked on 5/6 trials. Does this apply to acquired sensorineural hearing loss? I have faith in science!

Those who suffer from tinnitus are most probably hard of hearing too, like Meniere patients. Not sure on the auditary signal provided by the equipment is stimulating for them too. Could you shed some light on these matter doc, thanks.

Careful with ginco billoba. My tinnitus got worse from it. Including headaches. It also gets worse from heat at night. And from glutamine. Not every tinnitus has same cause.

Thank you so much my dear Doctor Cliff, AuD. As always excellent information, have you heard about Cortexi for the tinnitus? Michigan Tinnitus Device of the doctor Susan Shore? I honestly don't understand why any treatment or cure is only focused on the United States and Europe. Aren't there millions of people around the world who suffer from tinntus in Latin America? Here the doctors are still in their infancy, after checking your ears they will tell you that everything is fine and that you should get used to living with it. A big hug for you and your team.

Exactly! I'm from Brazil, and it is extremely frustrating to find professionals who truly try to understand and offer effective treatments to relieve tinnitus. When we do find them, it is expensive and not accessible to everyone. The standard response remains: "tinnitus has no cure, you need to learn to live with it...", without any sensitivity in handling the situation. It is important to remember that people who suffer from chronic tinnitus are emotionally very distressed, which only worsens the situation. I speak English and can seek information and treatments outside the country, but unfortunately, this is not the reality for many.

@@marolcasaroli A cordial greeting, I hope you are well, there is an important phrase that we must remember, there is a cure for everything, but there is no money in the cure, only in the disease or the symptom. I no longer see any doctor, I don't use any hearing aids, much less use any auditory therapy to sleep, I just take care of loud noises, I exercise, I eat very healthy food and I forget about it. and I no longer hear it and I feel the silence. A hug.

This is definitely true with me. Certain voice tones are easily heard while others are impossible. I can hear a helicopter long before anyone else but can't hear my daughter speak. For me insulin spikes like early morning wake up or eating sugar makes it worse while fasting improves it.

I've had tinnitus for about 18 years since I had a fall and injury and honestly doesn't bother me that much. But I'd certainly much rather take a capsule or two a day and then wear something on my head for an hour while I'm supposedly doing something relaxing. You probably can't listen to a television or a video or anything else while you're wearing them
